1080v13 vs More V4 (Best Running Shoe for Heavy Runners Part 2/2) New Balance 1080v13 Review

I recently got the New Balance 1080v13s and wanted to compare them to my current favorite running shoe, the More V4s. My stats are 185lb, size 11 Wide, with a bounce in my run, so I need a max cushion shoe to feel the cushion at all. I got the 1080v13 to find out which New Balance shoe has the most cushioning. In my previous shoe review with the Saucony Triumph 21, I mentioned that those are significantly more firm than the More V4, and as a heavy runner, I don't get much cushion from them. In my running, the 1080v13 is the most comfortable running shoe I've tried and can easily recommend them over the More V4s in most cases. The Fresh Foam X seems to have been upgraded.

1080 v13 without a doubt. Both are great shoes. The More v4 is bulkier but still great.

I’ve got 20 miles in the 1080 v13. Incredibly soft but I’ve found for me personally, I don’t enjoy running as much. I had similar thoughts 15 miles into the nimbus 25. I feel like my hips are having to really help me work through the cushion. I’m tender footed (or so I thought) but have enjoyed running in the rebel v3 much more (longest run in only 5 miles in the rebel).

I'm slightly wide so I always go for wide, and it feels like there's a lot of room for a wider food.

Try the Kaiha Road it's thicker than the More V4s too at a cheaper price
