Sucks but it just too expensive to pay for development teams and programmers from a business perspective. Their sales team must be pretty stupid since they wouldve made so more money and kept a healthy playerbase if they made heirlooms $50 instead of 500$ from packs or 200-300$ from events.

this is so frustrating because the game is actually so fun to play but the devs/bugs just makes it a terrible experience...
not on pc, its a terrible experience in high ranked with the amount of fking hacks ranging from jitter aim cfgs, zen, xim, and people straight up wall hacking or using aimbot, i dont even know how some of the pros are even able to maintain pred while going up against so much hackers every match

@@haast09 no they didn't, they only removed the lurch for roller players but they didnt touch cfg at all and tbh they cant because its a part of steam, they would have to go over legal issues with steam in order to do that which i doubt they can because every game has cfg through steam itself

One thing I have to say about the ranked badge bug where many people (including myself) lost their ranked badges. I had only seen this, until my friend, who literally never plays ranked or apex very much, hoped on and found that he has a season 14 apex pred badge. Just throwing it out there, EA instituted a lottery with that bug and my friend freaking won.
This season is going to be remembered as the most broken season ever. Nothing works as intended, every day a new bug/glitch/hack/server issue or whatever. Such a classic respawn moment

You will get your diamond rewards, people are misunderstanding what this means. This change is like if you hit masters and drop to diamond you will receive diamond rewards, your rewards will still be based off of which split you got a higher ranking (if you got the same ranking each split the badge will be animated)

I think what they meant to say is that you'll be given rewards based off the highest rank you END UP IN in either split. Meaning that If you were to hit Masters, demote into diamond and then the split happens or the season ends, you'd be given Diamond rewards since you didn't finish the split/season in Masters. They worded it terribly though
Well that sucks... I peaked D3 in season 20 when there were about 3000 players at that rank, but ended in plat 1

To think that I've spent my free time grinding ranked (having a blast with the awesome perks) right away, it's BEYOND dissapointing to find out it didn't matter JUST NOW.
It's my first season playing ranked, and I insisted on grinding despite it not being a perfect journey, to put it simply... Too bad nowadays I have a new job = less free time.
Luckily, I only aim for GOLD and not a stupid higher status, which is infested with cheaters anyway.
I'm tired of being so understanding when they keep treating us SO POORLY. 😒

probably they changed their minds after messing up with the split reset, they lost the ranked data from split1 or something. Really bad they are not transparent about that they actually changed their minds, curerntly they are acting as if this was the plan from the beginning, which it clearly wasnt. Completely lost trust in current state of this game: lost ranked badges (still not fixed, why should I work for a ranked badge if I might lose it?), people lost their account progression (grinding for stats is pointless if you might lose it), people lost their skins (skins bought for real money then just taken away)

The first split is to get the animated badge. Also I belive they meant at the end of a split not season so if I end split one in Masters but split 2 is Diamond then I will get masters rewards
I am unsure of that, i think you will get diamond rewards then. Pretty dumb that split 1 doesn’t matter at all then, but i guess they have to say it after the split is over so everyone has to grind all over again just starting in silver/gold/plat instead of rookie... Typical respawn lol

I think for rank rewards if they ever decide to add kill cam in pubs and ranked, it should have an animated version of your rank that opens up to their kill cam, like for pred, the symbols jaw will bite down showing you the kill cam or masters symbol flying up. They could do something different for the others that have that reward (it could replace the banner frame or holospray reward) or get added with them. All the ranks could have different sound effects as well. They could also have a new tab where you can change what rank you have for each season going forward.

ignore everything else, its very simple. at the end of the season, depending on what rank you have you will get that rank's rewards. meaning if you get masters but have a few bad games and go down to plat, then you will get plat rewards NOT masters. basically you will be getting rewards based solely on your rank at the end of the season and not your highest rank in the season
Nope the point is if you play ranked both splits and hit masters both splits then your badge will be animated if you just archived it during split 1 you will only get it static

They can’t do ANYTHING right every video by everyone is just them dogging them saying how bad they are doing. Which they are. After I lost both my heirlooms and they made that patch to fix it now my game just crashes when I try to get into a game but I can buy things from the store still. Really shows where their priorities are.

After the cosmetic issue and the mass stat reset issue, I’ve heard everything is solved, but one of my ranked badges is now bronze for some reason even though it was platinum beforehand. Respawn definitely needs to go over this issue again as they simply didn’t solve it as I know that there are other people out there with the same issue as me. Think a little harder Respawn

I´m new to apex so i wanted to ask what the rank split is?
Ranked 1 split is just the first half of the season and ranked 2 split is just the second half of the season. I’m not sure if it always happens but I’m pretty sure it just changed on the mid season patch and all it does is demote you 4 levels in your rank. So if your diamond 3 you’ll go to plat 4 or something.

It's not that split one doesn't matter, apex used to give you a masters badge as long as you got into masters at some point, even if you demoted, that's what they mean

i think you're misunderstanding. its about what rank you are at the end of the split/season. so if you reach master split 1, but then demote to diamond, you'll receive diamond rewards for that split
Schrodinger's split. there is a split in the game, but it is completely useless, because why even play the first part of the season if you don't get anything for your efforts? respawn, if you really want to leave the calibration, then it's better to leave the calibration, because there's no point in a split that doesn't give you anything.
No that means if you were demoted to plat and you were diamond split 1 you will no longer receive diamond rewards as it is no longer based on highest achieved rank instead it’s based on what you are currently ranked at

No what this is, is that if you were to get masters and then drop out of masters back to diamond you will receive diamond rewards. its still based on which split you got the higher rank in, they should have explained it better but yeah if you got masters first split and plat the second split you should receive your masters badge (as long as you didnt drop out of masters) @Grrt
