Deep down Tyson is a gentle giant who lived through alot of hurt, deception and manipulation. It ultimately worked into his psyche and devoured him terribly. I'm surprised he didn't turn suicidal. Yet he remained strong and that says a whole lot.
Notice how civil and sharp he was at the start of his come up especially in his interviews. It was only until those money-grab charges and leeches came into play did he snap into a whirlwind of savagery having lost trust in everyone. I'm happy he's a changed man at peace with himself today. When the documentary, "Tyson," was finished but still not released, the filmmaker went around to different parts of the country into very affluent white areas. He would visit the malls and ask people what they thought of Mike Tyson. If they had negative things to say about him, he would introduce himself as the filmmaker of the documentary and proposition them with this offer:
"I am screening my documentary in theater number one in this mall. If you attend the screening, I will pause the movie 5 minutes in. At that point, if you want to leave I will give you $100 and thank you for your time but, if you stay and watch the rest of it, you don't get the money."
A lot of people responded with "a hundred bucks for five minutes, sure!," but not one of them took the $100 and left after the 5 minutes. He got hundreds of people who had no interest in Mike Tyson stay and watch the entire movie and all of them left with a completely different opinion of him.

I'm about the same age as Mike Tyson. When I was graduating high school he was dominating the heavyweight division. I have never seen a more explosive and devastating boxer then him. The combination of speed and power was so ferocious that I wondered if he could stop himself from killing his opponent with his gloves on. Once he hit his opponent and they moved backwards, he would follow them with a flurry of bombs. I'm not a sports scientist, but I think he has the body type that is best for boxing. His arms were shorter then a lot of his opponents, but he was able to throw haymakers at speeds that a longer armed boxer could not match. His life was a train wreck. He grew up in a rough part of Brooklyn and early in life he was "rescued" by his trainer "Cus D'Amato" Like a marine core sergeant, Cus D'Amato broke Tyson down and rebuilt him as a boxing killing machine. If you listen to Mike talking about Cus, you will see a transformation from a brutal gladiator to an emotional wreck. It's quite sad to see. He does a pod cast these days. He has matured a lot, but there still a few cogs missing in his clockwork.

His head space was all messed up after his trainer died and both those contribute to his anger, he also gets angry at reporters or media because they often ask obvious or pointless questions realistically in hopes that he will act the way he did and they could further portray him as an animal.

Mike was enraged because Holyfield 6'3 kept finding away to headbutt Mike who is 5'9 1/2 if he's an inch. It's implausible for taller fighters to consistently make head to head contact with fighters that much shorter.

Everything you saw in the video was true. It's commonly mentioned/joked about today that only a dumb person would want to fight Mike (who is 54 today), but it's always been about more than just his fighting ability and power. He struck fear in people and he knew it. He's talked about this a lot since then; he viewed himself not just as the best fighter, but as the top of the food chain.
The part you were confused about when he called him the f-bomb, it's pure machismo, which can be contradictory a lot of times, and another example of this. It's not about Mike liking the act, it's about Mike taking absolutely whatever he wants and those effected learning to love it because they'll just have to deal with it. It's to make his opponent feel emasculated and get under his skin. Mike's saying he will embarrass him in front of all those people, either right then and there, or in the ring.
Hip Hop and Sports were crazy about Donald Trump wayyy before he became president. He was just a symbol of wealth and had a name that was easy enough to put in raps. No one ever really heard his political stances until his campaign and no one really took those stances seriously until he was elected.

Attempting to understand sexist or homophobic statements coming Tyson is like trying to reason with a tornado or wanting to know why an explosion would demolish a building. He ran on pure hatred and anger. He was brought up in one of the worst neighborhoods in the worst city of that time. He hid until he had to fight and once he engaged that brutality he couldn't shut it off until he got older. He still has it in him but he has the wisdom to hold back.
