Mike tyson was a true talent but also a little scary....help me out guys I need some context and background to some of these interviews. Some moments were very funny, some intense, And some just terrifying. I love him as an athlete but seems like I need to research a little more about the man.

Yeah you just scratched the surface of the crazy life of Mike Tyson, from the infamous fight in Harlem clothing store called Dapper Dan's with Mitch Green, his marriage to actress Robin Givens, his rape conviction, his friendship with Tupac, him beating up promoter Don King, his associations with Brooklyn Hustlers and other Hustlers from around the country, etc.

Cus knew he was running out of time to get him to fight ready didnt have the time to teach him how to handle it. Atlas took it as taking tysons side then tyson and atlas had their problems and left.

It’s pretty sad story about Tyson. He was robbed out of millions by boxing promoters. Suffered from drug and alcohol addiction. Suffered from depression and many other mental health issues. Yet he was constantly thrown into the public eye as some kind of side show in and out of the ring. It doesn’t excuse his behavior I just feel bad that throughout his professional career nobody truly had his best interest in mind

I dont remember bernard Hopkins telling female reporters that they have to fuck him before speaking to him. I love iron mike but in his older years, hes said repeatedly that he doesn't like to think about his past, he doesn't like the person he was. He beat his wife and was convicted of rape... that kind of stuff shouldn't be just excused. He recently went over this on Joe rogan's podcast. I'm glad he seems to be in a much healthier mental state these days.

Mike Tyson is a timid, shy and sometimes scared man who appears to want to love the world around him, he also is the scariest most uncontrollable nuclear bomb on the face of the planet. His childhood was terribly complicated. His trainer (custimato) had him hypnotized since he was a small child to just see fury in the world around him. In age he seems to have found a little peace but it's obvious the voices are still there. Likely the most misunderstood and dangerous man in combat sports ever.

Yo this man grew up without no dad, no mum, the person who took him died when he was 19. First girlfriend took half of his money, promoter robbed him of millions. Got sent to prison for 4 years for falsely being accused of rape. Daughter died when she was 4. Got accused of near enough ANYTHING you could think of. He has a right to treat the media like this after how they treated him. Like he said no matter how he speaks to them they make him out to be a scumbag anyway, so he may as well act like one. Fucking living legend and an inspiration

Tyson regrets acting so aggressive but he gave up his body and dedicated it to painful training everyday and nobody cared when he was fighting a war on his own, he doesn’t like the man he was and he wishes it was different. He’s a good man he is just Bery misunderstood

The problem with this mashup of videos is that it isn't chronological. The Mike of old was a savage, the Mike of today is ashamed of who he was. Tyson is a legend and an excellent human being. He's matured and overcome so much that it's a wonder he is who he is today.

  • @kaiyeem

You shouldn't be reacting to video edited clips about Mike Tyson without knowing the full context in which many of these things took place, you're making a lot of ignorant statements due to that. Tyson gives respect when he's shown respect, if you talk crazy and try to demean him thinking that he's not intelligent, that's when you collide head on with the other side of Iron Mike.

Remember, these clips are from a much younger and less mature Tyson, 15, 20, 25 years ago. He's a much different person now. That first very intense clip was of him talking about his 4-year-old daughter who died from accidental strangulation.

He is not the same man today. He is very humble. I recently saw an interview with him and Joe Rogan and Tyson said he's disgusted with his younger self. He's very humble and a changed man. Granted he had a couple farther like figures die when he was young and that's when his turn turned to shit. But anyway, he's a good guy today. He's very funny actually. Has a great sense of humor

He said what he said about stomping on the kids testicles etc. because after his 4 year old died all the reporters were using him for views and trying to insult his intelligence. His daughter was in the house playing on the treadmill and the cord wrapped around her neck and choked her i believe. They used that to basically say he was watching his kids. Jamie Foxx is a real good friend of his and says that Tyson as a father is totally different from what you see in the media. He says Tyson's a gentle giant with his kids and that shows them lots of affection and is very attentive with them. The media started stereotyping him after robin givens falsely accused him of rape during their marriage.

1:50 .. You're right there, Mike Tyson even says to this day.. He is owned by a DEMON... When he's anger builds up he takes control of his body and he turns into just a animal on a war path and the demon even scares him most of the time and he always showed himself once they touched gloves in the ring until the end of the fight

To put this all in a nutshell, 75% of Mikes Rage and Anger stems from the passing of his First Trainer, his mentor, the guy who adopted him when he was a teenager, the guy who taught him the art of boxing; 'Cus D'Amato'...

The first interviewer asked Mike something inappropriate about the death of his 4 year old daughter, that died from an accident at home and Mike tells him that he has to go. Mike is amazing in pretty much all aspects, from the life experiences that he had, to the person he is to day, to his boxing accomplishments and boxing style. As far as his boxing goes, most people overlook or are unaware of the fact that his height and reach are similar to Gennady Golovkins' who is basically a middleweight. As someone who has picked up boxing at some point in life I can say that there is nothing harder than fighting a bigger guy that knows what he is doing and yet Mike had all of them big dudes in the heavyweight division trembling in fear and kissing canvas left and right, and he did it with such ease. Nothing short of amazing.

I have to say that Mike also said some nice things, some real real things and as a young dude back then I was proud to hear Mike stand to the podium and tell white America " i will make sure that your great grand children remember me!" To me he's the real black person who spoke honestly, bluntly.....he said things that I needed to hear on TV... He wasn't a hypocrite like Martin Luther King I have a dream no no Mike will say it as is and to me....that makes him unique
