    Thank you so much for bringing no spin knife throwing to everyones attention again. My grandfather tought me how to do it when i was around seven. Over head and from the hip. I had seen people throw knihes at the circus and wanted to know how to do it and he told me circus throwing had no power and showed me no spin. He came from a line of more than 400 years of black smiths an my guess is this was ”viking” knowledge passed down. I’m Swedish. Great channel!

    This is perfect for understanding the mechanics and the motions that are involved. Thank you so much Adam for creating this video! Right now, it keeping the fine details consistent. Basically creating that correct muscle memory.
    Practice makes perfect? False!
    Perfect practice makes perfect!
    Imagine putting in all the time and you were going through the motions incorrect...it's now a huge set back to correct because you've created a muscle memory that you're used to.
    Once again Adam, thank you! I succeed on my first no-reload last night. That's so cool when hitting it. 💯💪💯

Muscle memory problems maybe, but thanks to watching your show, I've been learning to throw from the side with success. But I'm really just edging past two meters now. I'm having a blast, and who knows, maybe I can overcome the overhand dilima at some point.

    Adam, I'm new to no spin but I'm really hooked since I've been practicing it. What I'd like to know is what exactly affects the axis of the quarter rotation? As in half spin as well as full spin keeping the elbow in and in line with the throw keeps the knife blade straight up and down, or 90 deg to the ground. Many times I notice the trajectory of my no spin seems more of wobble or sideways path to target? I suspect it has more to do with side to side position of my hand at release? Any pointers? (no pun intended)

  • @SeditiousSensei
    @SeditiousSensei Před 3 lety +1

    Hi Adam,
    Nice slow motion! That really helps me adjust my grip and the position of the handle in my hand, -more of a "handshake grip." The larger round shape on the butt of the handle also seems to make a huge difference adding to the reverse inertia on the release. I've doubled my no-spin distance in a half-hour of practice by getting knives with a better handle shape! It looks like there are no more AdeJet knives on Amazon in the U.S...? Did you sell out already? That would be a "good" problem to have for a new business! Thank you for the video!
