HOW TO REPLACE HVAC CONTROL CABLE CHEVROLET SONIC & TRAX| D.I.Y fix for a common Chevrolet problem!

Unfortunately with some of these common economic commuter cars there areas where the manufacturer uses parts that are as robust as we would hope. Today is the replacement of one of those issues. On 2012-2020 Chevrolet Sonic and 2015- 2021 Chevrolet Trax the HVAC control cable which is connected to the control knob and the blend door will break after some time. Here's a DIY on how to swap it out yourself and save HUNDREDS of dollars in labor costs.

I wanted to ask you a question on those rear reflectors you did a while ago on that Hyundai accent. Instead of using the butt connectors, can I use posi tap connectors to connect the red and white wire to the green and red brake wires. Will it work the same? Thanks.

My fan speed knob doesn’t work on 4 what’s that called

It could be a burnt motor blower wire, or your motor blower resistor, or the motor blower itself. its really easy to change those things, their all under the passenger glove box

My cool and heat knob works in the other knob that doesnt work. My air con hits the floor.

Same issue… just the other side the other valve is on the driver side of the radio
