I think the low divorce rate in India is primarily due to the lack of freedom that women have plus show society views divorced women in India and not because the marriages are working. My thoughts.

I don’t think anymore needs to get married until their early-mid twenties. We all change throughout life, it’s naive to think someone will be the same as they where 5-10 years, even a year ago.
Life is temporary, we have a fearful view of life and death leading to all kinds of conflicts internally looking to the outer to fulfill our inner. We are born whole 🙏🏽

It is we who are responsible to make it work or unsuccessful. Nothing can stop breakups. All marriage is a wrong terminology. Here me living as single. Since i don't need some kids for me all kids are my kids all mothers like my mothers and ofcourse my mother connection with me somehow deeper but iam fine with anyone just for walk or work but not for lifetime lol.. i realized. For living in society for some independence and to feed self till alive trying to have some money in useful way by giving my knowledge for basic needs is only my little needs well not a lean completely though. Iam ok

By experiences I could declare that problems before or after marriage which ever way it may be arranged, yet till there is no third party's issues or interruption the marriage definitely be happier each day or years and so on.

The main reason why the divorce rate is so low in India is that under the Hindu law both partners have to give consent in order to legally divorce each other . So many estranged couples prefer to separate rather than divorce for that reason.
