    I'm already in your future, yes.
    Please let me tell you of my pleasure following your impressions owning and exploring the Merry Fisher. It was very easy to feel identification with your calm experience of being together in a kind of handover, under the colour of some grieving melancholy. Life is a permanent change.
    You are young in comparison with me and you are both adorable.
    Being Portuguese, I am looking forward for your time in my country. You'll feel good and so I will.
    Thank you so much,

      Many thanks Neil and we of course we’re unique 😂😂 in all seriousness I don’t know of another channel which was the main reason we chose to start our channel having looked unsuccessfully for good 895 walkthroughs and an owners channel. I’m sure there will be one or two out there though. Our thanks again Neil - we’ve loved our YT community 🎉😁

    So shocked and sad you are selling your 895 after just one Covid disrupted Year. However fully understand and respect your decision. Family must come first and boats are a VERY expensive pastime. I cannot thank you both enough for all your entertaining and informative videos. Your channel has been unique as you are both the owner and user of your particular boat. Hence your videos are packed with tips and advice that only an owner and user can give. It has certainly helped me to choose and buy an 895 ( like many of your subscribers). I will really miss your videos. I am sure that your Land Yacht Onshore adventures will be just as entertaining for a new audience of motor home enthusiasts. They will now benefit from your superb and unique videos. Just a sad loss to us 895 owners and amateur sailors! The best of luck for the future Bob and Nicky. You are always welcome to video my 895 next year if you are getting withdrawal systems and need a fix!

    Hi Guys. I’m about to acquire an 895 this week (in Lymington) and have found your videos most educational so many thanks. I hope your land based adventures go well. I see you were using an inflatable rib. Grateful if you could advise on what size you recommend please ? Andrew

    • @PowerboatingAdventures
      @PowerboatingAdventures  Před 2 lety

      Hi Andrew,
      Many thanks for your kind words, much appreciated :)
      We had the 2.5m 3D dinghy which was fine for the two of us. Probably could do 3 adults at a push if they were all pretty agile. Our film reviewing the Torqeedo shows the two of us in it and that would give you an idea of size/fit. If you were a larger group then up size from that potentially but that adds storage considerations as below......
      Also worth thinking about how you are going to store it and/or use it and launch it as those are important considerations. As you saw from our film we put it on the roof once used to dry out before rinsing it off and stowing it when we returned to the marina. If that's a choice then keep an eye on the weight of the dinghy for lifting out of the water and up to the roof.
      If you are planning on adding an outboard there are a few more considerations there too like engine weight and storage and fuel type - electric or petrol etc. The oars provided were very good and would easily get you to and from the beach if you were at anchor on most dinghys. We liked the option of exploring a bit more/further away, hence the Torqeedo.
      The 895 lazarette is great for storage as you've seen and the SUP rack adds more options too.
      Hope that helps :) and enjoyyyyy that amazing MF !!

    Hum just got used to watching you both , we actually brought a new 795 , but only stood on one at the bar at show , would love it if you can do a walk and drive video with the 250 hp on ,I love your videos so informative and most of the questions I have seems to be always answered lol . The very best of luck with motor homing we’ve done it but always hired them , we driven to France , Ireland , Scotland and with the dog we loved the freedom . I keep an eye out for your up and coming videos . Be safe stay well .one very Quick question , how do you get both satellite and normal display on your Garmin ?

    Hi Guys, which boat would you recommend for a few months live aboard at a time in the Mediterranean, budget max £250k.. thanks. Ps looking forward to the Rv content 👍

    • @PowerboatingAdventures
      @PowerboatingAdventures  Před 2 lety +1

      Well Mark what a choice that would be with such a good budget!! I’d be like a kid at Christmas not knowing what to choose next!! The 895 was great for trips and a few nights away but with that budget I’d look for something bigger with more cabin space and a better sized shower space. That sort of budget gives you a tremendous choice - have a look at the 1095 perhaps. Thank you too regarding the RV adventures - looking forward to those!! 🎉

    May i ask how much headroom the 895 had in cabin? Thanks !
    I’m interested in buying one 😊

    • @PowerboatingAdventures
      @PowerboatingAdventures  Před 2 lety

      I can stand in both cabins Tom. I'm 5'11" (180cms). The mid berth cabin loses height quickly as you move from the door area into the cabin itself so standing in doorway then ducking down to move in. The main cabin is standing room at the door area for me (a slight duck to get through the door) then it has those steps at each side of the bed so you lose your headroom as you move to left or right of the bed. Main cabin bed extends to 2.1m in length if required :))
