My grandfather was POW MIA for 3 years, don't know how he made it out, but he did, he sacrificed alot for his wife and my dad, he was and will always be the greatest grandfather in the world, love and miss him each and everyday, the military has had such a great impact on me, and everything I see about the military gives me great honor and respect to come from a military family, GOD BLESS ALL MILITARY FAMILIES and guts and glory they have given to serve our country!!!!!!!!

I had the fortune to serve with some of this nations finest men and women during my 15 years (3 USMC and 12 US Army). Those were some of the best days of my life. I still deal with the loss of some of them. It's heartbreaking but it's a part of it. They sacrificed their lives for us all. My best friend Big Joe was killed in Vietnam and never knew it until many years later when he contracted cancer from Agent Orange. He is only one of many names I carry with me.

Sergeant Yost was a member of Company E, 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. On September 5, 1950, his unit attacked enemy positions on Hill 755 near Tabu-dong, South Korea. His unit ran out of ammunition and began withdrawing, it ran into a road block established by the North Koreans. His unit tried to eliminate the road block but on the following day, Sergeant Yost became Missing in Action. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. Reported DOD. Remains reported Accounted For on March 28 2018.
My brother-in-law .. KIA, Afghanistan, Nov 9, 2009, Raider. From this old vet (USAF, TAC, 1971-72, Vietnam, Air Force Intelligence) to SSgt. Charles Cartwright .. You are FOREVER MISSED .. FOREVER LOVED!!

My grandfather served between the Vietnam War and the Korean War as a ham radio operator. He lived for years after but in 2014 he passed away from cancer.

My spouse was in Iraq, afghan, and guatar. As a spouse I’ll say I was most worried for Iraq and afghan. He didn’t do this kind of stuff you see on this video, but they were there. But before we got married they use to be 91 kilo and did some other hard jobs where they were stationed. Finally they retired and I’m happy they are here at home with us. But yeah they were there and seen stuff and have dreams.

POW (Al Qaeda) 46 weeks escaped with all 31 men under me and none injured but me yet since then have heard that 6 of those served under me have given their lives for the sake of other soldiers by what I taught them HOOAH !! Rangers Lead the Way ; Death From Above ; Sua sponte
