When I was young I did JROTC because it was my dream to join the US military. However, when I turned 19 I made a mistake because I didn't know what I was doing. That costed me my career for the US military. However, I love my brothers and sisters in the service. I appreciate them and even more so. I too take an oath to protect the USA. Even if I am on my own. I bleed Red, White, and Blue.
I couldn't agree with you more! I served 15 years in the middle east going in with fluent English Russian and German Languages. I quickly learned Arabic, Farsi and Pashtun. You seriously want to know when or If someone is talking behind your back!
I answered the call gave six years for my country. Do I have regrets? Hell yes. Am I in pain cause of my service? Yes. However there is one thing I will never regret in doing and will gladly do again, swearing the oath to defend my country and standing alongside my brothers and sisters in arms.
I am a third generation Army Veteran and have been out for over 40 years and I still stand by my oath. I would gladly give my life to protect this Country!!!!
Semper Fi. I served for 22 years. 2 of which were in Viet Nam and the Gulf war. I am still a warrior even though my age. I would proudly serve again. I bleed red white and blue.
I love the Military Life. I am proud to say that My Grandpa Harvey Allen Whatley served in WW11. He earned 2 purple hearts in the War. He was an Army Soldier. When he was a child he helped carry pales of water across the Hoover Dam. He was very brave. He was a very respectable Man and I am honored to be his grand daugher. I love and miss him everyday. Something that he taught me is to always protect and fight for what you love and cherish so much in the world. He is buried in Boulder City, Nevada. That is my Hero, my Papa.
You guys are amazing thank you for everything you have done for your country and your freedom and freedom isn't free and for those that did not make it home proud to be a American because of my military
My two boys are in the Military. My oldest, an officer in the Navy, is waiting on his flight training. My youngest Badass is in college on an Army ROTC 3-year scholarship and will graduate an officer. He is in the Army and has completed his basic training as an enlisted member of the Army National Guard. They both have no fear of death. Yes, it sounds cliche, but they have told my wife as she worries about them and the shit this country and world are going through now. She has told me this about them, but I already knew because I raised them right. They are perfect gentlemen in public and you would never know that they are badass military men. They are not cocky or arrogant, and would do anything for you, but don't piss them off. "To win any battle, you must fight as if you are already dead." My boys are ghosts.
They don't count. Ur sons r heroes. We who loves them know it n r r grateful and proud of them❤❤❤❤❤. I agree that mist of the time it us nonsense n suicide. But should we give up? I'm there if u want to let out or go shoulder 2 shoulder. Love u n open my heart 2 u

I LOVE THIS BAND AND MUSIC SO MUCH!!! I'M TOTALLY ALL FOR THE MILITARY, MY DAD WAS A MARINE AND IN VIETNAM, AND UNFORTUNATELY, WHEN HE CAME BACK FROM FIGHTING FOR OUR COUNTRY,HE MENTALLY HAD DEPRESSION AND PTSD AND HE COMMITTED SUICIDE WHEN I WAS. 7 YEARS OLD .I WAS SO CLOSE TO MY DAD AND WHEN HE DIED, HE TOOK A PIECE OF MY HEART WITH HIM.I STILL MISS HIM TODAY AND FOREVER.❤❤❤,THANK ALL OF OUR AMERICAN MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE FIGHTING FOR OUR COUNTRY. AMERICA ,WE STAND STRONG!!!!!😉❤🤘🤘🤗🤗.
I couldn't agree with you more, there is not one man or woman here who disagrees with you more Ever in that American's will Never be Broken, USAF PJ'S will find a way to respond and rescue You!
I would join the marines but I don't like seeing people get hurt. I do like helping people I can't stand around and do nothing if someone needs help. I have a very high pain tolerance but I am very emotional but I am also highly intelligent and gifted.
Hail navy seals❤ so many r on ur level. Mine is away, I will never found one man like him. I crossed ocean 4 him. He died 😢😢😢. I'm back in europe home and I can't commit 2 nobody. He was the real man and liver ❤❤❤❤❤. You still live through me my hero ❤❤❤❤❤
There has not been a single male member of my family since the British invasion that has not served in the US Military, whether it be US Army, Air force, Navy, Marines. It's considered a right of passage in our family that's why I served in the PJ"S in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Too everyone serving in the military when I am old enough I will join you on the battlefield but for now GIVE EM HELL BOYS EDIT: Trust me User I will make sure by taking the 4 month crash course to make sure thats what i want to do.
You very seriously need to look at what you're getting into brother. It's not a video game on the battlefield their's no extra lives Lol. If you in fact make this choice be the very best you can be at the career you have chosen! That is all I am going to say aside from speaking and understanding multiple languages!
It's a great thing to wear a uniform but understanding the meaning of the uniform and knowing it more than a uniform is a whole new level I served in seal team and done my time just know there is alot of dedication to serve your country I don't regret it by any means but being deployed gave me a whole new outlook on my life I am glad to be alive because I saw things most can't even imagine make sure joining is for you I enjoyed my time but I also saw some want to turn back but if it's your passion I'd say do it I see the faces of people every night I go to bed but im still alive I hope you do amazing if you join I want to get back in myself
Hell yeah dude! Take it seriously and do it for the right reasons. Get in shape and stay in shape, learn leadership tactics and personal accountability. I am prior enlisted in the Marine Corps, and gearing up to go back in as a Coastie here in the next couple of months! These other dudes above gave good advice too, make sure you listen to it. Wear that uniform with pride and carry it with you for life. The oath we take is not just while we are in. They last forever. Think long and hard about what you want to accomplish in life and what mission you have set for yourself. Stand by it. These things will help to make you upstanding in the eyes of your peers! Good luck my guy!
I’m in process right now meps is so backed up it might be 6 months or more wish they would hurry… not in a hurry but just like y’all said Ill never regret searching my country and making sure my family has their freedom
