i'm surprised the bed liner turned out so well . in the floor step in parts i have these chevy rubber things . i wanted to put some kind of rubber stuff in the front area but this looks good. i think you should double check all those windows and roof vents for leaks before you put on side panels. i would like to say i have a 78 and parts car 79. but my favorite was my 74 sports van. it was a 1/2 ton with big windows all the way around and round headlights and was a little longer .

Putting in work brother. Been there, but nice build. Protect your knees for the rest of the build. You'll spend days on them. Cheers!

Thanks man. My knees and back were definitely sore when I was done with it.

Has it ever had a timing chain done to it? I would pull the distributor cap and manually rotate the crank back and forth to check for play. I Love the Chevy Vans. I had a new Dark Blue metallic long wheel base in 1978 with s 350 4 bbl 4 bolt main and it ran very good. I could keep up with corvettes and Camaros of the day up to about 70 miles an hour. Had a lot of fun in it for sure. The ac would freeze you out because I put a partition right being the seats. I*`m from Wadsworth ohiop originally what part of Ohio are you in? And when you lower any car it just gets cooler lol. Peace.

Why don't you wanna go up the sides...? Indeed, it seems that it would be an outstanding moisture barrier if completed top to bottom.
