Cavalier - Conversations With Real Ones | Moruf

Inspired by my beautiful network of creatives, friends and loved ones I want to share poignant conversations worth archiving. I was moved by New Jersey born and bred artist and emcee, Moruf's thoughts on social media in reaction to the murder of Kirshnik Khari Ball pka Takeoff of the Migos/ Unc&Neph.
I am not sure what all the solutions are to the gun violence seeming to follow Black men and Black people. But hopefully conversations with real ones are a start.

- 8:32 This is a good point about the industry, since it's the same machine which will curb anything remotely Anti-Semitic & would rampantly censor logos/brands in music videos [Disclaimer: I completely understand it, however most other forms of prejudice/hatred would be completely overlooked by labels]
- 39:14 It's a mad one, because we're creating a new culture for ourselves at a rapid pace
