well its very unnecessary to uninstall the entire caliper and the brake pads for this job, you can just spray them down and turn the wheel it shouldl be fine
Definitely don't do this. After 15 years the only way I can successfully sort contaminated brakes is by new pads and using some sort of degreaser with a toothbrush to get into all the holes on the rotor, just wiping the edges isnt enough, oil sits in the holes, then rinse with water then spray with isopropyl alcohol voila works every time
DEGREASER DOES NOT GO ON BRAKES For ACTUAL advice: use isopropyl alcohol and very fine grit sandpaper to get a layer off the pads, and clean your rotors or just use this like the video shows
Definitely don't sand your rotors. Put them through a parts washer (degreaser) rinse off with water then finish with isopropyl alcohol, works every time. Own a bike shop being doing it for the last 10 years works every time. Good luck gents.
you can use it on the pads and rotor wouldn't spray it on the calipers or assembeled brake, could degrease stuff you don't want degreased and damage bearings and other plastic sonce it's pretty aggressive
Nice one Muc Off... Now how to silence the annoying as heck music you chose to go with this video 😅

Whenever I have squeaky brakes I just put chain lube on the rotors. Works great
Its gonna be squeaking more
Whenever I see someone get annoyed at brake noise I use my brakes more
personally i dont find it annoying i just find it embarrasing for my bike to make loud squeals infornt of other ppl lol
Heat gun on the pads to drive any moisture or oil out then a sand is the best way I’ve found.
😂😂😂el fondo musical😂😂😂

The way the video does work you are just probably not doing it properly.

@@jamowie4866 no the pads
Just find the nearest steep hill, descend while applying brakes lightly and voila noise has gone 😁
Jamás limpiar discos con trampos q no sean de celulosa la grasa aún así se queda en esos trapos
Dude doesn't know how much spray to apply - 50% wasted.
Or just some isopropyl alcohol
Rim brakes. Problem solved.
Rim brakes are horrible
I'd rather replace a rotor and pads than buy new rims
Rim jobs are priceless😂
I'd rather cut my dick off Bro 😂😂😂
Can we not use regular car brake cleaner? Legit question new to disk brakes on bikes but not cars
we'd suggest to use bicycle specific brake cleaner
you can use it on the pads and rotor

Funny music😅
MEOW
Or just new brake pads and rotors

Spraying contaminated pads does stop them squeaking…
If it persists, you may need new pads. This absolutely helps.
caliper model
good question. unknown right now.
@@mucoffltd :(
Too much work for a bicycle I prefer traditional breaks way less cumbersome
not worthy 😂 it will squeezing again after got caught in the rain
