  • Kenya is one of the leading markets for e-commerce in Africa, with a predicted revenue running into billions of shillings. One such e-commerce platform is Plat Del, an online marketplace leveraging geofencing to connect vendors and consumers. In this week’s edition of Made in Kenya, Edward Chweya tells us how the Covid-19 pandemic inspired this idea.

This app can be the next African Amazon if it's well utilized and gains regular users.

Ati 60k active users but about 500 app downloads? I call BS! The amount of marketing you need beats knowing someone at citizen.

@@Muthonie riders and vendors have only 200+ downloads combined. The playstore is very transparent. They should ask for our support instead of selling fake success!

Of course this is marketing bruh. Theres even two testimonials from a vendor and buyer. Ahrefs shows no traffic for their website either. Anyway, this is a good idea and I see myself using it especially for gas.
