I'd give the Jomaa - a shot. But only 250 reviews on Amazon? That seems fairly risky.

unfortunately most are probably not high. But I think the gameball mouse one has 1000hz polling rate and up to 5k dpi.
I'm sorry. The only trackball worth buying is the Kensington Orbi. I've tried others. None better. I don't like the "thumb ball" approach. My hand has just become completely accustomed to the ball on top design.
Ive had the Kensington Orbit Fusion Wireless for about 1.5 years, and its very comfortable. Not sure if the Logitech MX Ergo is any better, but ordered it today just to check if thumbballs can be any good. Trackballs usually dont have anywhere near as good click latency as gaming mice, but Logitech MX Ergo is at least not THAT far behind, with "only" 12.8ms, while Gameball has 33.8ms. Kensington Orbit Fusion was around 50 - if one is to believe a single well known review page that i shall not name here, or else this message gets removed by YT automated comment filtering systems.
Logitech MX ergo is garbage. Bought 2 years ago. Took good care of it. It has great ergonomics, and it's really comfortable, BUT the built quality is horrendous. After only 2 years of moderate use, the left mouse button and middle mouse button misfire all the time. Tried cleaning it, it keeps skipping clicks. It's awful. Can't even drag a window without trying multiple times. Similar problems with Logitech keyboards. I strongly recommend you stay away from Logitech products as a rule of thumb.
