What day and what month have you been there? The cherry blossom was very nice i want to see it i plan to go next year but not sure when that i should book for flight.
We were there during the Cherry Blossom Festival of Kawaguchiko which was around the first weekend of April 2023. Usually a month or two before, they will have the cherry blossom forecast set and posted online.
I really hope you get to witness this, it's a real beaut.
