    What an incredible wisdom book.
We are playing the world's biggest game of telephone.
Constantly arguing about complex topics, like religion, when we haven’t even read one page of the book.
How silly can we possibly be?
    ---------
If most haven't read the book (likely not even 1 page), then where are our opinions of Islam coming from?
What an interesting world we live in :)

However, if you stop being arrogant, open your heart, and do some research you will find online that Allah orders us in the Quran to pray at certain times in the day, (such as the evening, morning, night, late night etc...).
Praying 5 times a day is not as time consuming as you think it is. You probably waste hours on your phone everyday. If you just took 5-7 minutes to pray and you pray 5 times a day you will have only spent 25-35 minutes. You will also gain more health benefits and you will become a better person, and god willing save yourself from the hellfire.
And remember "And never would We punish until We sent a messenger." - 17:15
And now that I have informed you, you will only be judged because you have been warned by someone.
Praying is not a burden as you think it is, once you get going, you will realize it is a gift and how blessed you are to even be a muslim, praying.

I am very aware of Islam and its teachings. I believe the only reason we say “God, the most gracious, the most merciful” is because we know that’s what he wants to hear. He fear him because he has the ability to take us down any second. Apparently, we do not deserve him or his love. Brother, I’m sorry but this sounds like we are nothing but slaves forced to serve a master that can take them out of life any second. The fact that people will go to hell and others in heaven just for their faith is so messed up it’s not even funny. He allows innocent humans and animals alike to suffer excruciating deaths and torture. He allows evil to exist (Evil is not “without good” just like how good isn’t “without evil” you need both to coexist in order for each of them to be a thing). But, God being all-powerful didn’t change it and instead made it the law of nature which is messed up, he allowed evil to exist. Every day innocent people die or cancer and various other things and he does nothing to stop it, but instead lets it continue, this is the definition of evil. So yes, if this God were to exist, he is evil and he should not be worshipped, nor should we hope to spend eternity in his kingdom with him.

    • @ahmedtheguy3634
      @ahmedtheguy3634 Před měsícem

@@Kurt-TeuscherIn the end of the day my brother, what is a lifetime or two of suffering in the face of eternity either being heaven or hell depending on the deeds of man and man alone as he is the only creature blessed with a mind who can distinguish right from wrong unlike animals who only follow their instincts and in the same sense of not understanding right from wrong little kids. On top of that, every creator creates his creation for a purpose, a blacksmith uses his hammer to hammer iron, an artist uses a pencil to draw. When God made humans he told the angels I'm creating a successor in earth, they replied are you going to create that which kills and spills blood, he told them I know what you don't, and indeed he created Adam and after him, his line of children on which many were prophets and all ruled by God's teachings and rulings to worship him. The only difference is God, our creator, doesn't need us to worship him or follow his teachings. He says that he can smite us all and take away our lives not to because he is evil but because it shows how little we are and how exalted he is. In fact God is merciful if anything, he said that he doesn't destroy a village or people until he sent them his messengers with truth and gives them all the chances to go back to the straight path ,when they choose to disbelieve on top of all the miracles and arguments that's when they get their punishment. So it's not God that is evil for allowing "the law of nature" to exist, it's the people who disregard their blessing of the pondering mind and indulge in their temptations and animalistic desires and instincts and perform deeds which are rationally evil and false. That's why humans are superior to animals and angels, one follows his instincts and one worships and serves God only. Humans as you might have caught by now have the choice to choose which to do and be judged depending on the choice. In the torah of the jews, it tells them if someone is going to kill you a year from now or two, kill him now you don't have to wait and I can link you the rabbi talking about it to justify murdering kids in Palestine, does that seem right to you compared to God giving wrongdoers a chance to repent even after performing their wrong deeds. In Christianity it's even more messed up, if you just believe christ is king and god, you can do whatever you want since he died for your sins, might as well sin you feel me. I hope you have an open mind regarding this and is not fixated on one thing regardless of any proof because in that way nothing I can say will change your mind. May Allah guide us to the right path

And btw *children* have a one-way ticket to Jannah no questions asked (no that doesn't include teenagers because teenagers can think)

As you folks delve into it, just try to dig into more variate translations, and whenever a translation seems to vary the meaning across verses where the exact same word is used, be careful, there's a Paul there doing the translation. How you can do that is by taking a glance at the verse written in Arabic and then read its translation, so from one verse to at least the next three, you'd know which Arabic word is repeating simply by its shape, and be able to notice where the translator played a trick.
As a blessing of Allah, Quran is one book the source of which is preserved in Arabic script, so there can be no doubt about its veracity, if one chooses to dig beyond translations and commentary, by simply opening up Arabic grammar and vocabulary and public discourse on verses where Satan has worked day and night century after century to whisper in the ears of scholars. Deciphering arabic words is not as hard as linguists and marketeers would make out to be, it's just a very mathematical language.
As a Muslim born, turned agnostic, then revived to Islam, my method was straight arabic reading with translation in mother tongue, verse by verse. Then another slow reading, it took me a year to finish twice like this. Then I moved to topic based study, which reveals more of widespread corruption in translation and transliteration.
Example concepts that are subdued by almost all translators: Precedent of space travel by humans, existence on a mutli-dimensional continuum, time travel, inter-galactic water channels, icebergs, mountains keeping the earth from exploding is the most clear one but even that they managed to hide behind abstractions.

This discovery lead me to realize the Quran is protected from corruption - they couldnt alter the Quran directly, so they manipulate and alter the meaning of certain Words and Verses. I also realized the purpose of manipulations are intended for justification of hadith.
I feel blessed to be guided to this discovery, Arabic is not my first language, infact, i embraced Islam 3y ago. Now, when reading Quran, i rely on multiple translations AND translate myself along with utilizing arabic lexicon dictionaries - Almaany and Reverso have been great help.

Many ask why should they believe in the actions of past Prophets? Why should they believe Moses split the sea if they didn't see it? Why didn't they get something like that to boost their faith and guide them? The simple reasoning is that it was not intended for you to see, to experience or to guide you. It was for those people. What we have today is the miracle of the Quran. A book written so well it is the main piece of art for the complex Arabic language. After 1400 years. And it makes sense today even more. We have become a culture of people who are curious of everything, who study things deeply, who research and explore. So what better miracle then a book that be taken apart, researched, explored, with hidden meanings, metaphors, etc.
As for you, I am beyond impressed by this. What a thing to do in a single day. Kudos to you.

It is common to read the Qur'an in Arabic in one sitting, because it is easy to recite; it takes about 10 hours. But 19 hours?! Bro... Even the Prophet received it in 23 years. I have two kinds of reading; one where I'm reading it from start to finish and carefully reflecting upon each verse and reading various interpretations about them, and one where I read a random chapter in one sitting and reflect upon it in the end. I've reverted to Islam 4 years ago and regarding my first kind of reading, I'm still at chapter 5, cuz there's just so much to unpack.

Allah created Black people as COAL. Coal is made to be shovelled straight into the HELL-FIRE!
Abud Darda' reported God’s messenger as saying, “God created Adam when He created him and struck his right shoulder and brought forth his offspring white like small ants. And he struck his left shoulder and brought forth his offspring black as though they were charcoal. Then He said to the party on his right side, ‘To paradise, and I do not care’ and He said to the party in his left shoulder, ‘To hell, and I do not care’.”

A lot more questions are answered if you read it in Arabic. For example, words are gendered, you see that worker bees are female (true to real life) and that the “virgins” are called houri, which is also referred to with gender neutral wording (implying that there are male ones too). This is also a different that “virgin” in Arabic, and some say this word specifically means “reborn/pure person”, which would make sense for heaven. I’m currently learning Arabic because I honestly feel I missed a lot in the English translation.

Seek things out for yourself, or get them from someone you really trust.
If our opinions are coming from ignorant people or the news, then there’s a high probability we are being lied to.
Only the truth will set you free.

Wow. I appreciate u reading it. A lot of people pass judgement without even seeing the book once. While the english translation does provide with overall concept. But to dive into it more I recommend u reading the "tafsir". It means explanation. (Recommended Tafsir book: Tafsir Ibn Kathir). Quran is written in poetic way & has lot of hidden meaning within it. the tafsir/explanation of Chapter 114 can literally come out as a book. And ask questions. I am sure lot of people are just waiting to answer to the people who want to know.
