it never ceases to amaze me how some people can hold difficult notes with NO vibrato, i find it impossible! well done to her, from a pitch point of view too, she was near perfect
melanie C had a new experience and she wants to continue to try new things. . .I think that she is not useless but her voice is just more 'thin' to this kind of music but she has a pure and limpid voice too!
I happened upon this vid quite by accident as I'm not a huge fan of Melanie but I was curious of his choice of guest and I admire Russells voice immensely so I listened. They haven't got Melanie's voice high enough in the mix...her voice should be louder on the desk! Yes..her voice is not as powerful...she's a woman and the very nature of a mans voice is stronger! Maybe Russell wouldn't like her voice to overpower his! :-) It would have been far better if the 'balance' had been right!

I think Russel performs the best here, Mel C doesn't quite have the vocal strength needed for this. Still good though.
