@@jaquine82I watched this game in full from the beginning. In the whole of this tournament , this was the game that has the highest XG ( expected goals). They had almost 3.80 while EG had like 0.56. If anything , this meant that Nigeria should have won this game by at least 2 goals and up till now, no team has as much XG still in this tournament. All credit to Owono too for a job well done between the sticks. That’s another proof that a good goalkeeper can save you on days like this and they got a point for the effort. So congratulations to both teams

this match is part of a newer era of football, the underdogs are so rampant now it not like football in the 1990s or early 2000s here smaller teams can prove a big challenge to bigger and better teams, we saw this in the quarters of World cup were Morroco stunned Portugal to enter semis, and plus Equaterial guniea has a good goalkeeper, Nigeria had 19 shots with 7 on target, A huge gap compared to Equaterial Gunieas 7 shot with their lucky shot of 1 , Mozambique drew with Egypt, Cape Verde won Ghana and as I am typing this Cameroon and Guniea are drawing 1-1 with Guniea scoring the first goal, we cant forget Argentina 1- Saudi Arabia 2.this a new era in football and it gonna be an interesting and exciting one

I was in the stadium today and it was very much empty and they site says that the tickets are sold out. Thursday match sold but the stadium will be empty. Nonsense organization.
