    Best web content provider I have found. I don’t even have any of my own land to hunt, but you have taught me more than any other person by far. I share your videos with my buddies because they are always razzing me about the big bucks I shoot. I tell them here, watch these and learn. Thanks Jeff and congrats again on the upcoming lil one. 🎉

    Great video. I learn something every time. I try to be as critical as possible on what you say compared to what I experience in the field. Easy to say you’re right a ton of the time! Still haven’t harvested the big one, but I know I am super close to achieving that goal. Thanks Jeff!

    Here at the house i have 4 acres total. Only a pass through along a small creek. I've added switch grass to screen veiw from house and barn,and also I've done buckwheat/winter rye rotation, and tiny brassica area. I sat in my stand along the creek this morning 12/26 first time this year and had over 50 turkeys, 7 does, 1 bald eagle, uncountable Canadian geese flying over. 3 of the does were mature, but I couldn't get a clear, clean shot. Twas quite awsome to see.
    I have same up at our farm planted within days of plantings i have here at home,this allowsme to keep tabs on whats doing what at both places. The movement of all these animals across my little creek bottom has become more frequent and they hang out ALOT MORE for longer time instead of moving through fast like they used to.
    So, with that being said WHS has really really helped here at my home ....branch office. Lol
    And up at our farm. Thanks Jeff! Feel like i owe you something for all this knowledge, guess I'd better be buying something from you soon.

    I have 20 acres with some mature white oaks about an acre of grass, green briar, Creek water and other natural native species.
    It's nothing to see 20 to 40 deer in the grass lot on a daily basis.
    More shooter bucks than we can keep track of.
    We don't do anything at all except leave them alone until archery season starts.

    Great as always. Where do apple trees fall in your repertoire of design? I plan on getting some going this next year. I know it takes approx. 4 years before they really provide anything but it would be a nice addition.

      I’d love that video! The concepts of the WHS system would be forced into compartmentalization to accommodate the sliver of the movement you capture. 👍

    Great video ! This could be a great topic for a future video . How would you recommend designing a parcel with land that is divided narrow? I have a few lands that are only 1 acre wide by 15 acres deep. With one 1 entry.

    Question for you Jeff. We have a 250 acre dairy farm thats split between ag (alfalfa clover corn). It is about 50% ag 50% hardwoods. Located in VT. Its a good spot and ive grown up hunting there. We very rarely get bucks older than 2 and we have a lot of does and fawns. I'm tired of
    Losing up and coming bucks to neighbors but I cannot control the ag fields because its a working farm. How can I improve my buck to doe ratio and attract more mature bucks?

  • @alanayeager4619
    @alanayeager4619 Před 6 měsíci

    Do you intentionally “connect “ doe bedding to buck bedding areas or is it better if they are purposely kept apart?

    Is the web class worth it if you only have 10 acres of woods and some ag land??

    • @poplardeer
      @poplardeer Před 8 měsíci +2

      I'd say yes, especially if it saves you from making a mistake or two, and figuring it out on your own after 3-4 years.

    • @whitetailhabitatsolutions9751
      @whitetailhabitatsolutions9751  Před 8 měsíci

      It also depends on if you are converting ag land too...
