    The competition you are talikng about is called the 4 Hills Tournament in english. The germans call 4 Schanze Tournee. And I was so proud when Anders won. I love his fantastic ability to show emotions. He is a fantastic athlete and a fantastic human beeing!

    I saw it on Tv and after i saw simon ammann jumping 233m i thought that schlieri will break romoeren`s record but luckily he hadn`t the chance 'cause the results were cancelled, and his 239m are in safe :D
    unfortunatelly, bjoern wasn`t as good as I expected this year but i hope next season he will be in a better shape , because I really wanna see him jumping longer and wining like he used to

    Gleder meg veldig til konkurransene denne helgen. Bjørn Einar hoppet
    230,5m i kvalifiseringen og Simon hoppet 225,5m, MEN Ammann hadde lavere fart !! Veldig spennende !!

  • @LandisArnold
    @LandisArnold Před 16 lety

    True.. he was hurt at 240 and would have been really hurt at 250.
    Bjørn was lower over the early part of the flight and this allowed him to fly the bottom much better. It was still a pretty hard landing, but if you look at Ahonen's jump he was maybe 10 ft (3 meters) higher through much of the flight and he had to come down somehow.
    Glad he is back in form now.

    Romøren THE BEST SKI-FLYER!, to bad he aint the best regular-jumper.. Today Anders Jakobsen won the "Hoppuka" - "jump-weekend" with is the most valued ski-jump contest! NORWAY FTW! :) Heia Norge!

    Finally!!! search for Andre Keissewetter (GER), WR distance jump long 196m, but written down as 192m to prevent wide hunting of world records. He touched the snow with hands.

    @jestrogooool Its a skyflying hill, the 130m is a Skijump hill. Skijump hills goes up to 130 to 143 meters normally and does not give any positive slope on the offset. Skiflying is up to 205 to 239 meters and does provide a little upslope on the offset plus 6-7 mph more speed bc hillsize(Look at the HS(HillSize) 215 in the clip). The lengths are highly determined by the hills, like golf scores are dependent on golf courses plus weather conditions ofc.

    @Tyyppi69 he fell. The jump counted, but the World Record didn't. The 240 m counted because he did actually land, but fell afterwards. He got terrible style marks but the 240 were allowed. But in order to be a World Record holder you have to stay on your feet the entire time.

    @HappymanFIN But he fell flat on his back as soon as he landed that jump, now didn't he... Hill/world records has never been aknowledged if the jumper couldn't stand. Bjørn Einar stood, hence his jump was aknowledged by FIS as a record. If you're from Finland, you should know these things!
