Even keyboard not working
@@genuinenessholder8693 that's a psu issue bro, if no fans running and no lights at all in the pc even the keyboard and mouse not lighting up, that is a faulty psu. if not it might be a faulty motherboard
I just got a pc and this has happened to me and the only thing that works to fix it is putting In my old hdd but it is corrupt so I cannot use it is there any other way to use the pc with just an ssd cause if I take out the hdd the pc just does this
@@smallvipor9386 the question is does your ssd has windows installed in it? your motherboard probably detecting the hdd (since it has windows) as priority boot. just a my theory though. If you remove the hdd and this "reboot and select proper boot drive" appears, that is a good sign, this means your pc is ready to install windows in your ssd

Yup. This worked for me. The night before, I forced shut off the pc with the power button after it would not finish shutting down for a few mins (I have windows installed an an ADATA SU630 SSD, in case anyone is interested). Next day, I tried to boot and I got hit with the problem which led me to this video after getting scared out of my wits by guides in the top Google results which seemed at first to suggest that my drive had died. I had to select something along the lines of my SSD model along with "windows boot manager" for the #1 load option, not the one that just stated the drive model. Hope that helps somebody!

you boot drive is losing connection, double check the sata and psu cable going in your boot drive if both are connected all the way. Try to go to bios and load optimize defaults, let's hope your motherboard will automatically detect a drive that has o.s in it

Great video!
hey, getting into bios and loading optimized settings fixed it. However, for some reason, windows boots a lot slower now after doing it. Do you know why?
the bios optimize defaults is literally everything is set to default so you need to overclock your rams if you want faster performance. Turn on xmp, save settings and exit bios. If it happens you lose signal do a cmos reset
I'm so fed up at this point, nothing I do seems to work and it just keeps showing me the same screen over and over.
remove cmos battery for 5 minutes and place it back again before powering your pc back on. If this works i suggest back your files up because it could happen again. After backing up your important files just install a fresh windows. This issue is been torturing us all lately perhaps it's because of the latest update of windows with the former windows installer we use before.
We’re you able to fix it

Hey I have an M.2 that has my windows on it, when I go into the bios it does not register as a selectable drive. I bought the m.2 in 2019 it's a WD blue 1tb. Preceding this happening my PC froze, so I restarted it after several minutes of it not responding to inputs. Is my m.2 dead?
EDIT: unusually after hard turning off my PC, (using the power button and not restarting it with the built in button) upon going into bios my M.2 appeared and after selecting it, it has booted up like normal... This concerns me as I am wondering if this means my m.2 is dying or this was just a goof. I'm not sure.
m.2 only dies when not being use for years, so use your pc at least an hour a day specially when it's newly build one. i would blame the motherboard first than the m.2 breaking. Anyway my first thought was you have an old hdd plugged in your system and at times slow detection of hardware are caused by it. I was about to suggest remove any hdd first then just try your m.2 but it seems that your pc already working :)

What if my hard drive with my OS isn’t showing up on my Boot Priority List??
1. sata and power not properly installed, double check if it's plugged in all the way and correctly.
2. faulty sata or psu cable, try other cables if you got spare.
3 Worst case scenario, hard drive might already be broken. happens usually on old hard drives
I replaced a faulty hardrive with a new one and now I’m getting this screen. I’ve tried changing the prioritised drive but it keeps happening. Any idea what’s wrong lol?
try to set your bios to optimize defaults then restart your pc. if i'm not mistaking some motherboard will automatically find the drive that has O.S in it

Hi, I’m still not sure what to do
I was playing with my friend yesterday and my pc suffered from ‘thread stuck in device driver’ multiple times. I’d already checked the drivers multiple times prior, so my friend suggested we downloaded the newest drivers from the official AMD website to sort it out. The first time I tried to download it, I had a ‘critical process died’ bsod, and the second time I fully downloaded and installed it, I got a pop-up saying something along the lines of ‘Windows 10 Process Ended’. I couldn’t do anything so I powered it off. I booted it up again and got this problem. I’ve checked the plugs inside the motherboard, which all seem to be fine. The problem I have is that my pc only has one boot priority, and that one doesn’t work. The only other option is disable, which has the same result. Really not sure where to go from here. Do you have any pointers? Thanks.
this is just a theory, but other than looking for the gpu driver fix how about try removing any old drives in your system. Usually a very old hdd could also cause this. Try to unplug the old hdd and boot it normally, Uninstall the current gpu driver, restart pc then install the latest driver
@@MacCoyzkie just had a look through, would disconnecting an ssd have the same effect?
