Hi!
You have a Microsoft account and you forgot your sign-in PIN, you are trying to remember it, but nothing comes out.
You've tried resetting your PIN, but you don't know your Microsoft account password, and you no longer know any way to access your computer without losing your personal information.
Today I will show you how to create a local account in Windows 11, Windows 10 or Windows 8.1, log into your Windows with this account and use it to access all your files.
Do not worry, look carefully, repeat exactly after me, step by step, and we will succeed!
➡️Commands in cmd:
1. regedit - Enter
2. net user - Enter
3. net user (you write your name here) (enter a password for the new account) /add - Enter
4. net localgroup Administrators (you write your name here, and I will write my name) /add - Enter
5. exit - Enter

First method not working
@@Spinb0t360I'm sorry, but due to the latest updates from Microsoft, it became possible that in Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 the command prompt can only be opened using a bootable Windows USB flash drive, otherwise the system will require a password.
If you do not have such a flash drive, you can ask your relative or friend for it, or you can make such a flash drive yourself, but for this you need another computer or laptop, making a flash drive will be free:

Oh my god can't believe it worked after hours of work.
I found a CZcams video saying disable all the msconfig services (and I blindly did it). Now when I restarted my laptop the pin option was not working, it was saying to reset it but reset option was also not working. So only option was to start the PC at safe mode/use cmd which requires a password(I forgot). I was literally going to reset it but I decided to try the boot drive. And it worked like a charm. There are so many videos explaining how to enable all the services but simple that cmd has not privileges.
Just saw this video, followed 1st step, restarted my laptop, opened msconfig, all the services were enabled without doing anything, continue to the window 10 and boom I was at pin page. Put my pin and the phew... I took a long breath.
You are the best. I followed your method 3 and successfully got into the computer. You have saved my life. Thank you so much for all your work done and keep up your excellent work!
Well, I'm glad I could help you 🙂
i normally don't comment, but this was straightforward easy to follow, and worked!

I followed your instructions and it worked to perfection. Thanks so so much!
This is actually a really helpful tutorial!

Just awesome, good clear instructions how to do the 3 methods, just outstanding.
Thanks for your time.
Thank you for doing this video. It fixed my computer for me. I am sure you have helped so many people by doing this video. Once more thank you.
Dude, it worked. I owe you a beer, if I have any left after I erase my memory of this experience. Only change I had to make was to change CmdLine back to empty after the system rebooted and kept opening the cmd window. Once I removed that, business as usual, log in to your new local admin account.

I dont often write comments but you have been truly helpful thank you
Well, I'm glad I could help you 🙂
This 100% saved the day for me! I'm always hesitant of how legit comments are that praise how this video "saved the day", but it absolutely did! I've only ever used my fingerprint login for my HP probook, so no password or pin was ever created(as far as I remember), but suddenly I was forced to use my "PIN" as the only way to log in... I was ready to just bite the bullet and lose everything and do a factory reset but it wouldn't even let me do that without a password! 😅 I'm glad I didn't though because the steps in this video absolutely work, I'm back in and lost nothing! It's actually even easier than what the video mentions too. At the end they mention that you'll still have access to your files in your locked account but it'll just be accessible through the new local account you have to make through the steps in the video. The video says you can transfer all those files to your new account and then you can delete the locked account, but you don't even have to do that. Once you make your new local account like it tells you in the video, the new account will have administrator privileges so I was able to view the accounts on the computer, found my locked account and just changed/created a new password from there, then logged out of my newly created local account and signed right into the main one that I was locked out of. So everything is back to normal, I have a pin, and a password, and my fingerprint login, so there's no way this will happen again! And I didn't have to transfer anything or delete any locked accounts! 😅 Trust me, this works! And THANK YOU to who made this video!
First of all, I'm glad I could help you solve this problem😊
And thank you also for such a detailed description of your actions, I hope that your comment will be useful for some users who find themselves in a similar situation!
This is amazing. Worked flawlessly... Thanks!!!
Eres un maestro, te lo agradezco muchísimo, intenté resolver mi problema con tu otro video en español, pero no resultó, este era el método que debía aplicar, muchas gracias!!!

How? Maybe your original was a local account. I think it's impossible if your main was a microsoft account

Haven’t done this yet but looks good. If only I saw this before selecting “Reset this PC” from the recovery menu which has been sitting at 68% for an hour. Great Tutorial

Thank you so much you saved me a headache.... I had forgotten everything in an old netbook and my boot menu did not open and bios was password locked too had to short cmos pin to reset bios and then follow these steps... I will try to restore main account. But thank you so much. This worked perfectly.
I tried many ways to get access to my data. I was so close to giving up and reformatting the machine. This got me my data back. some of it was irreplaceable. So appreciated!

I did everything from the first method and when i press continue in 6:31 it restarted then took me to login page and the command prompt didn't open like your's
I found my problem...i was using the boot(x) disque in 4:12... Now my problem is i can't access the (c) disque and it doesn't show his space...i just can't select that's disque
@@noobdzgamer1397 Similar problems occur due to scheduled updates from Microsoft.
If you have another computer, or if your relative or friend has a computer or laptop that you can use, I can give you advice on what to do to access your PC or reset your password.
@@ipMalik yes i have another pc...i found my problem actually when i used the first method it's asks for recovery password but there were skip os drive option and i used it that why I couldn't access local disque (c) ...so i tried the usb windows method and i found that i can't access it because it's asks me for admin password means : i can't access bios settings without admin password
@@noobdzgamer1397 Resetting the password in BIOS is not difficult, on a desktop computer it is enough to pull out a round battery from the motherboard for 5-10 minutes and put it back in place, on a laptop it’s a little more difficult, but in the comments it’s a long time to talk about it, it’s better for you to see the method that suits you and do this:

OMGGGG Sir, if you didn’t mind, is there anyway I could possibly receive those instructions as well?? I’ve been losing my mind for weeks now trying to remedy this, and I’m in the same exact boat that @noobdzgamer1397 was in. I would be super grateful…
I don’t have forgot my pin option
Super useful, didn't need the whole account thing as my issue was I ruined my startup settings by messing with System Configuration, which locked me out entirely, but having access to full command prompt (without being in WinRE) let me access msconfig and fix everything, thanks!
Ok!
Thank you so much for this! 😭
Hello @ipMalik
I've watched a variety of your videos and have seen that you also take time to respond to comment inquiries. Hopefully you will see this comment.
I have gained access to an OLD PC, running on what looks to ve windows 8. I tried the usb bootable method and was finally able to get to the installer window after two days however shift + f10 does not work and the keys and mouse do not work at all. I habe tried tab, esc, space, enter, fn+f3, fn + f9 (in case sceeen lock is enabled) and none have worked.
Also, the keyboard and mouse work just fine until I reach the installer screen. I have also tried USB mouse ans keyboard. Plesse help. Thank you :)
Hi!
This problem has several causes and it will be difficult to investigate one by one in the comments.
Try to find a suitable solution for yourself in Google:
www.google.com/search?q=mouse+and+keyboard+not+working+when+installing+windows+10&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
@@ipMalik Thanks for the response! I just found a solution after days of searching, however I just also learned that my Local Drive (and ONLY drive) seems to be unformatted. Is there a way to make another drive/disk? As I do not want to format it and lose data. Thanks again!
@@Ayantorera Yes, of course, the best solution to this kind of problem is to install a new Windows, most likely Windows 10.
During the installation process, the disk will be formatted and all data on the disk will be completely deleted, which means that all software problems will also be deleted.
But since you don't want to lose files on this PC, then you can solve this problem in two ways:
1. Install Windows 10 on this computer using a bootable Windows 10 USB flash drive in such a way as not to lose personal files
How to do this, I showed in my other video:
czcams.com/video/opwX7U8H9JE/video.html
2. You can also make a bootable Hiren's BootCD PE flash drive and use it to transfer the necessary files to another disk or USB flash drive, and then install a new Windows 10.
Tonight I will post this video guide and send you the link.
@@Ayantorera This video has two parts, how to access files and transfer them to another drive is shown in the second part:

Thank you. Very helpful video.
I needed to tweak a few things on my end: After completing the regedit part in windows and BEFORE RESTARTING and starting the cmd to add a new user, I HAD TO MANUALLY REMOVE my Boot USB because otherwise the laptop would restart into win10 setup again.
I had to time it right too : after clicking Yes restart to windows and only when the laptop screen goes black, wuickly remive the Boot USB so that windows starts and voila! You see the cmd appear :)
Leaving this here in case someone has the same issue.
Thank you again, Malik.
The problem with loading a Windows USB flash drive is that in the BIOS of your laptop, in the Boot section, the USB device is set to first place in Boot Priority.
@@ipMalik Exactly.
In this video you say just click on the Boot USB. But that doesn't make it load for me, so I had to make it a priority over Windows.

Thanks man really good video
This just maked my computer boot loop.
If your computer has entered a reboot loop, this problem occurs if you made a mistake in one of the steps.
Now let's try to solve this problem and first do the following - You need to start from the beginning, that is, force restart your computer, if you have a laptop, press the power button and hold it until the laptop turns off, then turn on the laptop.
Sometimes the looping reboot will stop after this, but if the endless reboot continues again, force shutdown your PC again and open Command Prompt as you did at the beginning of the process.
We write “regedit” and first go through the entire path step by step, but with one change:
open the CmdLine tab, mark 5:40, delete cmd.exe, click ok and in the next step in Setup Tupe, instead of 2, set 0 again.
Continue until the PC reboots, at which point the cycling should stop and the lock screen will reappear, requiring you to enter a password.
After that, don't do anything and let me know when you're done.
Yes, it stopped rebooting but now im having automatic repair loop, could you help me fix that by any chance?
@@loyaltycrossfire From a distance, it is difficult for me to determine the exact cause of this problem, and I do not know in which command what error was made.
In this situation, I can offer you several options:
1. Enter the system recovery program using a bootable Windows flash drive, in this video this is method number three, then open the Troubleshooting menu and use the “System Restore” function. This way you will restore the OS, the problem with the password will not be solved, but this can be done after recovery.
If you don’t have such a USB flash drive, you can ask a relative or friend for one, or you can make such a USB flash drive yourself:
czcams.com/video/SB-u10x5lFg/video.html
but this will require another computer.
2. You can also use the “Reset this PC” function, and if you don’t have the necessary files on your computer that you don’t want to lose, then this will be the easiest way to solve the problem:
czcams.com/video/iD954d5KT9I/video.html
3. But if there are important files on your computer, then in the process of selecting the “Reset this PC” functions, you need to select “Keep my files”.
The computer will restart and there will be no problem, but Windows will continue to ask for a password.
When you're done, let me know and I'll try to help you.
when i did step 2 and my computer restarted and now every time it loads up , the command prompt pops up every time
I want to thank you very much you saved my computer and all my files. Want to restart it and got into administrator CMD I was able to change it to log back into normal boot mode once again thank you very much
