I was in the presence of the man whom I had idolized since 7yrs old, had inspired me through life and was my greatest influence ever. He would become a great friend, an even greater influence and was the truest definition artist ever, a man who was always a gentleman, a genius and a true American treasure. He'll never be equaled, he'll never be replaced and he'll always be remembered as a great friend.

The best. No challengers, no question, the best. Never will we have this level of comedy. We have gotten close with a few, but he's a special one. Go back and watch the *Seven Words* or *Flamethrowers* or any of those bits. Priceless.

I was blessed to see George Carlin twice in person with my late Dad. We never laughed so hard. I have some of his albums....and a turntable that works. He was a great man. RIP George you are missed. Love and Prayers from Canada 🇨🇦❤️🇺🇸🙏🤣

I love George. I have played him for both my sons and we love his language explanations. Endless hours of "have a nice day" or "guacamole"!
we lost the King of Rock n Roll, the King of Pop and the King of Comedy... I am so grateful for the existence of this beige blister of air that floated proudly in the milk! (George was my favourite comedian of all time!) We interviewed him in 2012 at the Sanderson Center in Brantford Ontario Canada.
Had a foreign exchange student from Spain named Manuel come to live with my family when I was in highschool. Took him to Kroger to go grocery shopping and he was perplexed by the bakery section. Wondered why most all the bread was already sliced and I told him "it's easier that way" and he asked me in broken English "it's trouble to slice?". That always stuck with me. Shout out to Manuel, he was a good friend

A prophet of the great electron and a teacher of all things relevant to life ..and he makes all of that funny ..Sure miss him and the commentary and wisdom he could provide in these times .

I have the DVD box set of all his shows. I had the privilege of seeing him live in 1996 in New Brunswick, New Jersey at the state theater. It was a 22nd birthday present from my sister, she knew I liked him.
