I hope Quads mode will be able to play with that extra friend it always sucky feel when one gets left behind and if Quads does allow us to invite one more friend does that also mean new lobby or update is coming as well to make room for that extra 4th spot?

Respawn won't switch to Unreal5 and away from Source engine do to the fact the game would lose most if not all the movement mechanics in the game. Apex would essentially turn in to COD but with legends and abilitys.
Already been proven wrong my friend there is several Apex movement clones in ue4 and 5

Mostly custom mods created by Apex fans and titanfall fans etc. Theres a lot of them, maybe I should do a video on them.
@@PWNHUB The Unreal engine ain't perfect, performance issues galore based on Ue4 and especial Ue5. Go try the Finals, love it but performance is ass. Respawn has been working on porting Apex over to Source 2, in conjunction with their Dx12 Beta. Changing engines ain't easy either, you'll have to have your Dev team up to speed and able to code for a different system. The current ones in Respawn are already struggling with this aging Source engine, what would you expect them to do with Ue5 engine?!
No, no they have not. There is absolutely 0 source 2 working being done, and they cannot port to Source 2. The Apex Engine runs on a specific port of an EARLY version of the Source engine. It is much close to the IW engine from COD4 MW2 and MW3 era than anything else, as it was more or less derived directly from GoldSRC.
Actually calling the Titanfall Engine the "Source Engine" is 100% just people using terminology that is familiar to others, it is in fact known as the Titanfall/Apex Engine.
Side note, performance issues don't typically come from the game engine but the graphic engine and how it's implemented into the game. If your games random math behind the scenes is causing issues you got something like Civilization or City Skylines going.
