Today I'm assembling of a cosplay 3D printed sword, freshly printed and ready to be pieced together. In this video, I'll show you step-by-step how to use different types of adhesives, including my personal favorite JB Weld epoxy, super glue, and 3D Gloop, to achieve the best bond for your 3D printing projects. We'll explore the pros and cons of each glue type, ensuring you pick the right one for your project.

Awesome as a beginner in 3d printing. About a month in here
Thank you! And welcome to the 3D Printing Club. 😀
there is also superglue for plastics, plastic more welding glue alternatives to gloop and epoxy. Would be fun to see more of this, just test it on small test parts so you can compare strength and stuff easier.
Thats a great idea! 😉
Great video, don't take this the wrong way, but did anyone ever tell you you sound like the voice actor for Donatello from the original TMNT cartoon?
lol. Don't give away my secret identity. 😉 🐢
Would be interesting to compare prices of each. Although super glue you wouldn't use as much if you were using epoxy or gloop. At a quick glance it looks like PLA Gloop is $0.29/ml if you buy the 120ml bottle, and the epoxy is $0.31/ml from home depot. CA/Super Glue can be super cheap if you buy in bulk, like $0.12 or 0.13 per ml. Just some food for thought.
