I feel like Cade has consistently put on weight every offseason. He’s getting close… I say he’s coming in at 233 this season. That’d be 💪

I don’t think Cade is the problem going forward since he’s proven me wrong on who he’s becoming as a player. I still think Khris Middleton is his best comp but I think he’ll be significantly better than who Khris was.
My issue is the rest of the team or lack of personal. I’m not convinced any team in the NBA can collectively improve in multiple categories without changes being made to the roster. SAC and Chicago are prime examples of what happens when you bring everyone back with 0 adjustments and roster changes. There has to be a shake up this offseason through coaching and the removal of players that cannot play within the system you’re trying to build. We can’t expect them to be a significantly better shooting team when nobody but Cade, Tek, and Sasser have shown improvements over the season. It’s just not realistic.

I don’t think Cade is the problem as much as the complete lack of continuity. The difference between SAC/CHI and Detroit is that those teams main players are fully developed, no one was getting better to allow the team to take another significant step forward, Detroit’s entire roster, practically, is overwhelmingly likely to improve jurastically. I also expect improved shooting from Ivey in a role he understands, Stewart knowing where his shots are coming from, Grimes getting healthy and acclimated should all look far better.

Yep that's right, I don't know if he's still vegan, but we'll see how his strength is this coming season with that

You can definitely put on muscle mass being plant based. There’s mad bodybuilders out there who are plant based.

Cade 220 vs 230 I don’t know man I guess 10 more pounds could matter

For Cade’s style of play it will make a huge difference because he will be able to be more of the initiator of physicality increasing his ability to draw fouls and keep defenders honest where they can’t crowd him.
