Well they do get favourable decisions from the officials and VAR, they receive no yellow cards for waving their arms around while other teams get carded, and there 115 FFP charges are never tackled while other teams with lesser charges do.

It’s probably because they’re built on cheating yet seem to have evaded any sort of repercussions. There isn’t another team in the PL with such a dark cloud hanging over them. Add to the fact City seem to just get decision after decision after decision. Rodri et al seem to be allowed to make as many fouls as they want an never get the yellow cards they deserve - Rodri should’ve seen two yellows but he didn’t. They get decisions no other side seems to get - as if they need any additional help - and all this adds up to them being a pretty loathesome side unless you actually support them.
It only took Kevin de bruyne one match to register his first goal and assist this season🤩. I thought he'd be rusty, but the word "rusty" seems to be non-existent in his vocabulary. He's just world class and I don't support or even like Man city

City turned on their style to smash Newcastle in the second half. A real quality team only can do that with Liverpool the other one. That's why its pretty clear now it would be just a two horse race. Although Villa is also just 2 points behind Liverpool, i expect them to fall off in the next few games. The 3rd placing would be a fight between Villa and Arsenal. The match today between United and Spurs would be a very closely fought match with United edging Spurs by 2-1.

Newcastle's midfield is such a strange thing, they play so flat despite playing a 4-3-3 because Bruno always pushes forward - no one just sits back and holds down that space. They did the same against Liverpool and other teams and it's really easy for teams to punish. Also very happy to see KDB back, truly world class.
