YEAYYYYY....I found my sister-soul-mate!!! Not only a Southern girlie, but someone ELSE who doesn't throw away "useful" items!!!
I was laughing every time you said, " do not throw this away". I used to hoard everything and made so many projects with all of my treasures but we did a huge purge, donating or selling 80% of our belongings. So, I should not be watching your video but my favorite project has got to be the repurposed light fixtures. Beautifully done!
Julie, I love all ur projects and know u use carbon paper alot. I have been trying to get carbon paper, bit can't get any in my area. Where do u get ur carbon paper.
I totally found you by accident, but your content is right up my alley!
I'm going be binge watching your previous vlogs on Saturdays.
Lol me too
I loved your projects! The way the”enamel”“ crackled” at the bottom of your pot was perfect! Old enameled pots actually do that! It was a bonus!
Holy this is a 72-year-old great-grandmother I'm so proud of it I have two great grandchildren a beautiful little girl that's 9 months old and a four year old great grandson I always look at your tutorials I love watching you I watch all you're going shopping to the thrift stores the antique places the junk Shores I love it I love all of it I've always watched all of your tutorials and gave you a thumbs up so I hope I can win these trees cuz I would really love to have them have the mold that would be super nice if I won that
*Julie, this has to be one of the BEST DIY Trash-To-Treasure videos you've done and that I have seen❣ Hands down, my favorites HAVE TO BE the light fixture globes that you turned into tree ornaments with the LED tea lights inside and the light fixture you added the old curtain rod finial to the top opening, turning it into a beautiful cloche❣ Bravo, Julie‼️👏👏👏*
Best best best 💓
Julie I simply love. you're unbelievable ideas. I've always been one to SAVE EVERYTHING.🤣THEY CALL ME A PK RAT. I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO MK .UNTIL I FOUND YOU. YOU'RE SO CREATIVE.THANK YOU SO MUCH KEEP GOING GIRLIE YOU'RE THE BEST
The light globe ornaments are FANTASTIC! I was so happy to see this new video pop up! I think I could watch you 24/7 and never get tired of it. 😃
Yay! Thank you!
Cute
I love the lamp globe project, and the out pot
My grand kids watched with me so we are going to make the trees on spindles to give out at the nursing home our most favorite
I love the red book spine ornaments, I would of never thought to make a paint bucket into something this adorable! I am in awe of women that know how to use power tools!!!
You’re the only person I know that can take a pickle jar lid and make it look like an expensive piece especially a Christmas ornament
I honestly can’t choose a favorite…You’re just too good. 🎄☃️🌟
Julie--I now look at my "junk" in new and positive ways. I don't throw anything away now bc I may repurpose them. I love all your ideas and inspiration!
We are a kindred spirit, Julie. i have a terrible time discarding anything. I believe creative folks always see another way to use anything!
I love that you use regular household items to decorate.
I'm am so amazed at how nothing goes to waste with you. You find a purpose for everything i Love it. Your ideas are so creative keep bringing the awesome videos. Can't wait to try some of your ideas.
Oh my goodness. My head is swimming, because I want to try all of these tonight...lol. If only I had all the supplies 😀. Sending to my friends that I know will love these projects too.
I'm amazed how you can turn absolute trash into beautiful decor, so talented.
My husband loved this video too…he always saves jars for what I said was “for what” now he said see I told you they are good for lots of things…lol love your style girl💞
Julie, you have got to be the Queen of recycling!! I thought I keep a lot of stuff because I might need it later, but you beat me by a mile. And your ideas are so cute and usable in all kinds of decor with just a little tweaking. You also have so many of your projects that can be done with children at least up to high school. I was an art teacher for years and these are great suggestions for teachers to do in their classroom with little cost. Goosh keep up the great ideas. A quick thought, you should put together 20 or so ideas that teachers can do in the classroom and advertise it for that purpose. you could make a little out of it and there would be lots of happy teachers.
I love to give new life to things that others think is trash. You got an eye girl. All are so wonderful! Old baby bottle brush cleaners make great trees. I love watching what you create! Love your hauls too!
Hold the phone, I now must go to the restore and everywhere that might have light globes! I love those!
Honestly woman the things you upcycle/recycle and make to look high end is absolutely amazing! I just remember looking at my husband and saying did you just see that❗ Like I needed proof of what I just saw.... I think you have super powers ❗❗ And as far as a fav ...I am torn as I can't decide between the lanterns or the paint bucket❗❗❗
Julie I think you are one of the most creative little ladies I know. You can literally turn anything into a beautiful piece of decor. I love the hanging light fixture ornaments. Absolutely genius & gorgeous!! ❤️⛄️❤️
Julie, you've given me so many ideas that I can share with my girl scouts. Once they are done with the treasures, I plan on having the girls give them as gifts to our local senior citizens. Thank you and keep teaching us.
Love the box so so cool. ....
My dad was an electrician! So he kept all sorts of stuff to use as crafts! I got some of it and now I know what to do with it!
These are all great ideas. I especially like the enamel look on an old pot. I have a stack of old pots that belonged to both my Mom and Mother-in-Law that I just couldn't throw out. Now I don't have to, I can repurpose them for my home and keep their memories with me as decor in my home. Love it!
Wow! Julie, you really out did yourself in this video! I loved all of them, but my favorite is the glass shades that you upcycled and put on your tree!
Thank you so much!
I just discovered your channel and am binge watching your episodes! You are so inspiring! I went out today and picked up an old glass and pendent light cover and a drawer knob from Habitat for Humanity for $1.50 and made an adorable cloche for my bottle brush trees. Thank you for the great idea!!
Love the idea of trees on paint bucket.. made me think to do bunnies in buckets for spring, birds on boards for spring, hearts on metal pocket for valentines.. got my mind racing... thank you! You are so real, down to earth and creative!
I'm a collector of jar tops myself but then can never think of what to make with them. You have definitely inspired me today
I absolutely love how you can turn any ordinary household item into something beautiful and unique. My husband is making the wooden box to go around our Christmas tree this year as well. You are so inspiring and I look forward to your videos every week. I told my husband I wish I could stay home and make projects to sell. Maybe one day lol :)
I love the way you reuse everything. Nothing goes to waste. Your projects are beautiful. Who knew a paint bucket could look so good.
Need the trees in my life
Love the tree box
You have some very doable crafts that I can do coz I have not a crafting bone in my body..love your videos
This is one of the best Christmas craft videos out of the 8542 that I have watched since October 2021. Paper bag and pickle jars has my name all over it....things like that touch my Grincy green 💚
I love that you don't throw anything away! My favorite project was the pickle jars. Such a neat way to repurpose them. I can't wait to try it!
Oh my goodness the light globes are absolutely gorgeous! Love everything you do!
Thank you so much!
I'm swooning over the IOD stamps and molds!! As a cardmaker, these are just more goodies to play with in my stamp room! LOVE all your projects but especially the pickle jar bags!! :D
The faux enamel pot was just too great!!! I love the look of the light fixtures inverted on the tree, too!
I love your ideas! My family started volunteering at a local homeless shelter and some of your activities are giving me ideas to share with their clients for holiday arts and crafts. Thanks 😊.
Julie, love all your creations using left behind items. What a beautiful way to design & keep things out of landfills.
Oh Julie, I love how you don't throw anything away. I have become a hoarder of this stuff. Thank you for getting me inspired to upcycle this problem box I compiled. I got to say my favorite is the paint can and tree spindles. Seriously I loved them all.
I love ALLLLL THEEE!!!!!! You ALWAYS do great projects! I think my favorite (I wanna try to make it!) is the tree boxes! But I also love the vintage books, those postcards!! 🤔 lol
I love “I can use this for something”. Those globes are my favorite. And the white wax, and the finial 🙋♀️❤️. Love love love
Watching this video again I realize how easy it is to forget all of your excellent tips and tricks! I love reusing an old paint can to create beautiful decor.
Julie, I love the way the light globes came out. They were gorgeous on your tree. However, all of the projects were so gorgeous. Who would think a bottle brush tree could look so high end! What a creative way to show them. And, the book covers-you are so creative. Love all of your videos.
Julie, your design-eye and talents are simply amazing! I absolutely love everything that you do! You are such an inspiration! ♥️🥰🙏🏻
It's the first time I've seen one of your videos and I felt identified with you. I also don't like to throw things away and my husband says I'm a hoarder. I showed him your video and I told him now you understand why I keep so many things, you have to see it with a crafter's eye, it’s not garbage, it’s art. I liked everything you did, you’re very creative. 👏🏼😀
My Husband's greatest foe... my re-purposed projects. I have the same light fixtures and I saved them because I just knew I could do something with them.... thanks for your amazing ideas!!
I love everything you made. You have given me so many ideas. I love the IOD stamps and molds. I have a few, and you have given me ideas on how I can use them. Pickle jars, wow!
Girl!!! These diys are stunning 😍 loving all of them. The moulds are beautiful and my style completely. I even have both as tattoos. Trees and also a snowflake(my mom has a snowflake tattoo also... we got them together). Can't wait to see more Christmas projects from you. Thank you for all the amazing inspiration ❤️
Those bulb covers, that you made into ornaments are BEAUTIFUL!!
Paint bucket turned out so beautiful you could use that all year
I just love all of your projects but the “light globes” are my favorite!! They turned out beautiful & I can’t wait to get off work so I can go out to try to find some for our Christmas tree♥️
Oh Julie, you are so blessed to have those light fixture globes left behind in your new home. They are gorgeous! And, are beautiful on your tree! My second favorite is the vintage postcards! Great video! ❤️
i would be more blessed if i didn't have to change out every single light fixture in this house. lol
Wow these are all amazing. My fav is the cardboard ornaments. So simple and everyone has cardboard lying around ❤️
Thanks so much 😊
Love that you refuse and up-cycle. I have the hardest time throwing things away too.
Girl, you are a crafting genius and a magician repurposing items. Love your crafts. Merry Christmas❣️
Julie, you are so incredibly gifted with vision for what others may see as waste. All of the items in your video inspire me. Thank you for sharing your passion with all of us🥰
Thank you Julie for all the beautiful ideas. It inspired me to get busy creating.
I am obsessed with your bucket with the trees and adding the wax added the perfect touch. So classy and high end. Great Job!
I just stumbled on your channel, and I am so impressed and intrigued with your creativity, and the transformation of of your finds at thrift stores, and your talent of making beautiful DIYs out of simplest to the more complex items.
I am so glad you did not paint over that Pillsbury Eagle antique can; NO!!!!!! You painted over the lid. Oh well. I have a collection of old cookie, cracker, popcorn can through the years. They were given to my son from a church member who loved my son so much when he was little. He loved collecting those tins. This sweet lady has passed on now. My son is 22 and is a Dad of a 4 month old daughter. I am a first time grandmother. My husband passed 3 years ago. My in-laws are not with us either. MIL passed 3 years ago and FIL in April. He was so excited about the baby.
Thanks for sharing about the “U shape” tree box.
I love the light fixtures ornaments.
It was all unbelievable but I think my favorite were the jars you covered with lunch bags. So clever and like you said, who doesn’t have empty jars in the recycle bin. Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Thanks so much! 😊 you too.
Julie: goes for the white look this Christmas
Also Julie: goes for the white look every day
😂😂😂 Love ya girl. Keep those beautiful diys coming!!!
🤣🤣 that's is true but I don't normally go white for Christmas but since I'm starting fresh, why not 🤣
@@JuliesDesignsandSigns a white Christmas is soooo beautiful and classic!!! Love it!
Loved all of them. I do save alot of things for projects. Best one was the paint can with trees.
Yes Crafting Queen you should be called! You are a crafting genius. I will have to rewatch this video to decide which is my fave. You shared so many ideas. Thank you!
These were all fantastic, as usual! I'm happy for the person that wins the molds. Every time I go to purchase the "Sprigs" stamps I can't seem to find to them...then I'm out of money lol It's a vicious cycle for me!! I would have never thought about purchasing them until I saw you put them on drop cloth and frame them, since them I've been wanting them :)
hope you can get them. i love that stamp
I’m loving the molds! So adorable and you totally killed my resolution to not decorate for myself and my dogletts for Christmas! Thank you!
Awesome! I love all of them but you’re right! The glass lamp ornaments are my favorite!
All these projects are fantastic!
Wow you are so creative!! I get so many DIYs from you..the light globes turned out awesome, haven't used any if the molds yet,but I want to get some!Keep up the great videos, sharing to all my friends on Facebook, hoping they go over & join your channel, from Texas ❤
Oh my gosh Julie! This is one of my favorite videos of yours. Christmas is my favorite time of year, so it's no surprise that I love this. And your style is my style. I have to agree, The glass ornaments are wonderful. I'm thinking about stringing them across my entryway into my living room that has a double door size opening. I can't wait! But I also love the faux enamel pan. It looks so authentic! I am sharing this video to a bunch of my friends! .....and I am keeping my fingers crossed that I win one of those fabulous IOD items!!!
I ALWAYS LOOOOVE ALL your projects! The vintage cardboard ornaments & bottle trees on spindles are my favorites! But seriously….it’s hard to say cuz I really love them all!😍😁 You’re SO generous & giving to us all! May God richly bless your kindness!💝❤️
The white wax is magical on the tree molds. And the ‘white’ tree is a beautiful and affordable transformation! Shared!!!
I love everything you’ve created, but the light cover ornaments are my favorite!
Glad you like them!
I really love the paint bucket. A plain paint bucket turned into high end.
Can not decide if your sense of humor or imagination is the reason I enjoy your videos so much!
Hi Julie, I have been watching you for so long I didn't realise it's now 6am. Thank you so much for helping me through the night. ABSOLUTELY LOVED EVERYTHING YOU CREATE. God bless you and your family. Love Sue from the UK.
I can’t even pick a favorite because they were all so unique and creative. I love them all.
I love repurposing things! When I first started saving some things it really bothered my husband, until he started asking me for some of them. Lol. Those items have come in handy so many times for different things!
The glass globes are da bomb!!!! LOVE the tea lights in them too! Just enough light and softness for a wonderful cozy feel ❤️

The white wax makes the piece!
All the projects are super cute! I especially love the pickle jar with bags and stamps. The kids with snow flakes are cute too.
I rushed out to my and retrieved the old paint cans I had set out to take the recycle center. Going to definitely make containers out of them and I also noticed how you used one as a riser to spray paint the old cook pot. So they came back in lol. I have to say I love the lanterns too. You are lovely to watch. Big hug and know you are enough xxxx
Loveo love vintage postcards
