    I made this last Christmas for my mom and dad, and I left out the pepperoni and only used 2 cups of cheese, and we all really enjoyed it. My dad even asked what kind of meat I had used because it had such a deep, rich flavor. I told him I hadn't used any but that the recipe called for pepperoni. If my mom ever makes it again I think she'd probably use some Italian sausage.

      It turned out great. I could not find the pep sausage so I just got a couple of bags of the little tiny pepperoni disc's. It worked. I also could not find a package of pep slices, so I just asked the deli and they had some that were already sliced. I overestimated the amount that I needed, but hey, now we can use the extra for a sandwich or something like that. It was a hit with me and my son. My husband said his usual thing. "Its alright". At least he didn't say that it sucked. :) Oh, and that was the first recipe I made in my new IP Duo Crisp & Air Fryer.

  • @cito4633

    I saw this demonstrated on both HSN and QVC and when she did it she just used jarred spaghetti sauce, the pasta, cheese and sliced pepperoni...starting with pressure cooking the pasta and sauce. It was a lot simpler, I was disappointed that it was so much more complicated and a lot of this stuff I don't use or have any need to go out and buy. Have you found the simpler version any where? Thanks...love your channel!

    • @JohnSanders
      @JohnSanders  Před 4 lety

      This was one I did when doing the recipes straight from the ninja foodi recipe manual that came with the machine and I agree with you... the jar of marinara would be much easier and probably just as good... marinara is what I use on my spaghetti recipes now and it works fine... thanks for watching!!!
