You claim that the reviews for the album 'Let It Bleed' were unanimous; umm... not quite. Unfortunately, the music reviewer for one of the Philadelphia newspapers (I can't remember if it was The Inquirer or The Bulletin) condemned the album!!!
(I can't remember the doofus' name either).
But to give the jerk some credit, he did give high praise to their next LP: "Sticky Fingers". His major point is that it was such a relief hearing rock-and-roll again after the record market, at the time, had been inundated with singer/songwriters with their tedious self-centered lyrics and "soft-rock" arrangements!
