It was a huge part of the buildup. It wasn't pretty, but the fact is it happened. There was footage all over the internet already. They're not hurting anything by using the footage to build up the fight. They basically used a negative and turned it into a positive. They don't condone this type of thing but you can't argue that it's good publicity. People love drama. I bet a lot of people who don't even watch fights tuned in because of the bus attack. They used the footage, and did not punish Conor, which means they condoned it, and the UFC is not supposed to do that. They let it get to far, and never once tried to correct Conor.

UFC is the biggest shame of a company if the rematch happens. Rematches are for close fights where the champion loses, particularly for champions that have built a legacy in the division.
