Good stuff Bro! I literally just did a Chevy Aveo that was this Exact same way! It was much worse, nonetheless the exact same issue. On another note, Iâve been a Sata guy since I started out of High School. I use to lift weights when I was younger. But still love to exercise when I can.
I want you to show me some tips with spray Spies hecker 8180 clear and tricks and mixing it to get the perfect finish . Where using the vhs hardner or the other which mixes 2:1 ratio.l use 8034 before and carry it to 30%. Plz you info and experience with this brand
I donât think Iâve used the 8180 but when I used the 8034 I would adjust my spray guns settings and material flow to only be open only two turns out from closed and then I would close my fan 1/4 inch from all the way open and then put my air pressure between 25 to 30 psi. The 8034 is very thick and heavy and will run easy if you donât make some adjustments. I also move fast across the panels because of the high air pressure.
Hi lulo again i bought a gti pro lite 1.3 orginal from somes but the fan adjuster wont turn its very stiff, ive tried spraying grease but it still wont turn to make my fan pattern big. Is there anything i can do?
There is a spray gun lube that you can buy thatâs made for spay guns. Maybe if thereâs a way to take it apart you can put some lube in the area where itâs stiff. They get stuck from all the overspray accumulated over time. Got to keep up the maintenance on the spray guns for they can last. Hereâs a Amazon link to the one I use. hi lulo, question. What is a ground coat in paint and why is it used?
A ground coat can consist of a gray primer sealer or a grey base coat to help cover an area before you apply the paint. Itâs good to use a ground coat when painting a color that doesnât cover very well like red or something that might be transparent. The ground coat helps to assist in covering the panel with out have to put like 8 to 10 coats of base coat. With the ground coat you only would need about 4 or 5 coats.
