ScorpioGTTube you are correct, especially under the barrel. Would have saved a lot of time. Vectric allows the same thing, I was just beginning back when I did this one. Thanks for watching.

OOOPS, Thanks for the heads up...you are correct I see. This whole editing process takes some getting used too, and I completely missed that, sorry. I will show it on the next video. Thanks so much for letting me know, and watching.

You completely missed the end of showing us the finished product because you stuffed up. We can see it at the end of the video, the two halves don't align with each other.
Stuff ups are common practice in this hobby, admit it and we all learn from everyones mistakes.
Thanks for the vid it was a great effort.

I agree with you, Jeff, Carl Jacobson is absolutely an incredible wood turner. I hope you also become a fan of Capt Eddie Castelin too, he has a lot of years of wisdom to get you down the road quickly in your lathe work.

I think that optimizing the path only to cut out the borders of the gun, instead of milling other wood around it unnacessarily, would save you hours and a lot of tool/machine lifespan/usage. Idon't know about cut3d but blendercam does offer you the choice of the type of path you want to produce.

user new Apologies, but copyrights prevent me from giving the file away or selling it. Had I created it myself I would be happy to, unfortunately I didn't. You can find it at turbosquid.com

Why post a video of such a poor result? Your work piece was wobbling all, over the place and the Y axis was out by a inch top to bottom.

What really makes it boring is the useless chat clutter. And as a tutorial, a waste of time.
