HRH Princess Mele Siu'ilikutapu-Dawn raids apology event 2021

HRH Princess Mele Siu'ilikutapu Kalaniuvalu Fotofili special speech representating the Tongan community who were predominantly targeted alongside the Samoan community in the 1974-79 dawn raids in the suburbs of Ponsonby & Greylynn by Norman Kirk's Labour Party and continued through by Robert Muldoon's National Party. A controversial but significant part of New Zealand/Pacific history, with its injustices still felt by many Pasifika NZ descendants till this day.
