I have old magazine pics of Satyanarayana Babu marriage and reception. The article states that Relangi bought a house in Neelakanta Mehta along with the land oppostie Vijaya Vauhini Studio. Definitly this lends credence to whatever he is saying. As the happy occasion would come only once in Relangi's life he gave a very grand wedding and reception to the invitees. The marriage was at the house and the reception was held in Vijaya Gardens. The gifts that were given were mind blosing it seems and told how much Relangi was loved by Co artists , Producers and Directors etc. Refrigerators, Radiograms and various silver articles were some of the gifts that came along with blessings to the young man. I even have the special 1959 issue of Relangi that was published after a grand honor of him in Vijaya Gardens

Relangi Chitra Mandir was demolished in recent years. That's very painful as I watched many movies in my childhood.
I expected it to be converted into a mall & some part as a museum. No initiative from the AP govt for that, nor the Relangi family thought about it. The main hall use to have great photos of the TFI heroes, heroines.🙂
