I went from disliking Howard as the smarmy, buttoned up, high profile lawyer to being sympathetic to him, to quite liking him. And there wasn't really a particular scene that brought me to that, testament to Patrick Fabian's skill.

It’s in no way a shadow of BB. If anything it has its own voice completely antithetical to BB’s. The first three and a half seasons almost mirror an aughts law drama. And that possibly puts people (who may have recently finished BB or not) away from watching.
I think people are over stating how good the show is it is very slow and it's shot very dark and keep in mind for 6 minutes or something like that we watched people empty closets and it's supposed to be the greatest scene ever?
There dont have to be constant exciting plot points happening in every scene, some scenes have more subtle purposes. Forshadowing, setting the tone, etc. And ive yet to see anyone saying that scene is the best scene ever lol, honestly this is the first time ive seen discussion of that specific scene lol
