Snipers are insanely OP when you master them.
I think you missed the most important tip when it comes to sniping. Remain Calm. I see a ton of people, including myself, that start to panic when they "lose control" of the situation. Once you start panicking you start making mistakes, once you start making mistakes you end up spectating.
That's not a tip for sniping that should be a basic for anything you do
@@ImSharingaan I agree 100%, but the same could be said for crosshair placement and movement, yet here we are :D
@@Griffin256 well yes but it is different with a sniper
@@ImSharingaan So is remaining calm and relaxing. Especially if you are stepping outside your comfort zone and doing something that can, for someone new to it, be very stressful and overwhelming. But that is just my opinion on the matter. Maybe people that snipe should just be a gigantic ball of nerves where their anxiety eats them alive while they are attempting to do something new.
Runways been my favourite rogue for a while so I’m looking forward to sniping better

I know most of the tips that you mentioned but my problem is actually committing to the sniping. I just started sniping when they changed the dailies and added different wpn types that you have to use. I picked up Runway specifically for this but I haven't developed the muscle memory for this skill yet. Like you said in the video, I tend to switch back to my AR after a few missed shots.
Seeing how snipers work in this games makes me almost wanna come back and play it just to learn how to do this.

FINALLY, someone who has no problem with controller aim assist. Pc players' have a huge advantage just with their control.

i'm a good sniper in rogue company , and i totally agree with you ,
the hardest Thing is peeking when you See them, bcs If you Peek First you get sprayed. third Person Game after all
ight bet, ima master runway now but have the pistol as secondary instead of the AR, tip 5 is actually something I haven't thought off
If you aren't gonna use your AR then you're better off using one of the other sniper rogues, Phantom is definitely better and more versatile if you're comparing their kit with just a sniper and pistol
@@ImSharingaan I already have phantom and fixer master. And I did it back to back too so that 2 month period I was really good sniping. That's why i wanted to do runaway since i havent finished her yet

I just came back to rogue after a year I played beta and maxed mastery fixer and phantom. I recently picked up runway and oh my dude she’s so busted it’s a joke
Hey Radthar, what would you recommend spending the first round money on? Upgrading Phantom’s sniper or buying any specific perks first?
With phantom I found that prioritising perks to be better

I made this comment on a earlier video but do you think you could ever do a video on how to pick a rogue for each map or a tier list for rogues on each map?
Completely unrelated but do you have any tips on how to use kestrels out effectively? Most my kills are myself with the ult lol.

I am a kestrel main and I often use her ult when I know someone is trapped between a wall and my ult when I would shoot that, I also use her ult a lot when someone is downed and I know they are reviving their teammate behind a wall. You'll always get your finish and more often the person who is trying to res too.
Y'know, I've watched a few videos on various tips and it always seems Radthar is playing controller.
There's some aim assist (it's not huge like in some games, but it's enough to make console more likely to get the kills and headshots)
PC and Epic Launcher have 0 aim assist. We're stuck with settings or we have to plug a controller in and then it'll work like console according to my experiences with friends. It's way more obvious with snipers too. Flicking is more forgiving anyway. They'd go from Strikeout rounds of maybe 5 elims to suddenly double digits halfway through a round.
If people want to argue the point then go look up the differences between the two. There's side-by-sides of matches of the same character, loadout, etc and same map, same time, that show how much different the handling is even without tweaking a setting to start with, just defaults.
You could somewhat get it more controller speed but it's never going to be the same. Controller lag would have to do with hardware-software interactions and can be just because it's older or stiffer or the software doesn't fully recognize.
Just a gripe I have when every video I see for this game people are on consoles anymore. I'd be on 1 too but I'm playing Rouge Company because it's free to play (except for rogue unlocks which are few and far between given freely or free rotations) and I'm not rolling in the money.
Keyboard and mouse is literally easier and more precise to aim in all games compared to console

Tip number 1: Abuse controller aim assist.
I don't understand the sniping in this game. Literally on this video, you're missing shots that seem like they are supposed to hit them. Like I have trouble with this, I feel like you have aim alil off of them in order to hit the shot
I love how this guys talks like hes a professional🤣 this guys maybe average at the game lmaoo
This is a joke. Sniping takes almost no skill in this game since they all have infinite velocity. It doesn’t matter if they are across the map. If they are move and you line up a shot on the head it will hit, every single time.
