Thats the diffrence between his works compared to other studios, he always put realistic details on the enviroment and the peoples around it, makes the movie more lively
Just watched this movie last nignt, and it made me view my relationship and my life in such a different manner. This scene was one of my favorites in the move and knowing what the lyrics mean now just makes this scene even more sentimental. What an absolutely tremendous film
I watched it too a couple nights ago for the 3rd time, it’s a magnificent masterpiece, my favorite movie of all times! Each time I see it I feel much more refreshed, the whole moral of the movie and these lyrics to this song is just so touching 🥹
@catsinflorida absolutely agreed. I've been relistening to this song since I watched the film and it really touches my heart. Everything about the movie makes me feel so emotionally alive and appreciative of life itself.
I like how they don't sing it perfectly, Miyazaki's movies are always so human

How does it have anything to do with Miyazaki? It says in the title it's english dub
@@JohnDoe-it5vlIt’s still Miyazaki’s movie even with the English dub, no?

When you realize all the similarities to the magic mountain from thomas mann it just hits like a truck
The German voice actors are much better than the ones in the Japanese version!
Das ist beleidigend!
Ach Quatsch!
