Krishna is history as much as a mystery. It is as if he lived thousands of different lives in just one. Son, lover, King of Dwarka, Kingmaker, friend of many important 'mythological' men and women, politician, diplomat, King maker, war tactician, yogi, spiritualist, a mentor to Arjuna, the speaker of 'Bhagvad Gita - God's Song'. Truly, he is everything.

There are hundreds of unbelievable architectural marvels built thousands of years ago all across India, but unfortunately only the remains of these structures can be found down south, almost everything in the north was destroyed due to invasions.
The top ancient structures to look for are the Musical Pillars of Hampi, these temple pillars were created to sound like different musical instruments and were used to play music everyday during temple prayers, 2nd is Kailasa Temple in Ajanta Ellora complex, that was built by cutting a cliff from top to bottom, the temples of Khajuraho, Konark. Lepakshi and many more such beautiful monuments.

A Small correction: The legends say that the real reason for the city to sink in the ocean was a curse given to Krishna by the mother of Kauravas, Gandhari in Mahabharata. She knew somehow that Krishna was the key reason behind the killings of her 100 son by the hands of Pandavas. She blamed him for not avoiding this war of Mahabharata and killing of her sons. She cursed Krishna in return that his entire dynasty will be vanished and even Krishna who is supposed to be the only incarnation of God who actually knew that he is a God has to die.
Hindu Mythology is real fact..believe it or not it's reality ..

There were chariots and weapons discovered in Sinauli and have been carbon dated around 2000 - 1800 BCE. But in the archeological journals, if I recall crrectly, these chariots are reffered to as carts. This is mainly because of the solid disk wheels discovered there and the wheela were protected by copper sheets.

The reason of Lord Krishnas apperance on the earth as a human was to reestablish righteousness that was fading away. The kings were becoming evil. The humanity was being destroyed.
Hence the war was the only way to begin a fresh. Lord Krishna tried many times to avoid the war but it was inevitable. The mass destruction and killing of people was necessary, and its not just killing it teaches is a lot of lessons. Infact throughout the journey of Mahabharata we learn a lot of lessons that applies even today.
All dynasties as big as Kauravas and all other small ones had participated in the war. Except the Yadav dynasty.
The cleansing of Yadav dynasty was necessary. Hence the Kingdom was drowned in the tsunami.
It is said that Gandhari the wife of blind temperory king of Hastinapur cursed Krishna for destruction of her dynasty and family. People think it is just a saying or myth etc. But they fail to understand that the curse is just a reason for the destruction. The evil kauravas and Gandhar King and brother of Gandhari, Shakuni was just a reason for the destruction. It was all written! and bound to happen.

Krishna's heart is stiil pumping and alive and is kept in the wooden idol in Lord balajis temple in jaganath puri in orissa. The wooden idol is changed every 12 years by selected few who transfer the heart from the old idol to new idol. This is done in total darkness with blindfolded eyes by confidential and selected few. Krishna is not mythological figure but God born with all his attributes in human form in history of India. Bhagwat Geeta has been his divine contributions to humans for all race without any distinction.Indian civilization is not dead...all others are dead and mutiliated by their coloninizers who represented immatured , intolerant and arrogant cults having political, target oriented, expand oriented mindset at the cost of human values.Indian kingdoms with its people have fought valiantly since last 1400 years and survived against 2 of the worlds biggest cults who had gone rampage with their conversion thesis all over the world...and they still continue to do so in present in some way or the other. It is said that approx 80 million native indians fought and gave their life in last 1400 years but Indian Civilization and culture is still alive and rejuvenating itself to its glorious past and extremely bright future.

Actually when you study Mahabharatha you will see that Lord Krishna was given the curse that all his descendants and his blood relatives would die. Even though Lord Krishna didn’t did anything wrong but still he knew that it was his dynasty’s destiny so he accepted his fate and the curse. If he wanted the curse couldn’t have any effect on him as he was a God. And when Krishna left the Earth, the City of Dwarka was submerged under water.

Most important fact to focus on here is Hinduism is regarded to have existed for at least 135,000 years according to the oldest surviving artifacts recovered (It is believed to have existed for eternity, running in cycles of four chakras of time indefinitely). Apparently, everything must live or exist before getting destroyed, for new creations to take place from the remains of it. That is the essence of Hinduism.
Coming back to the brahmastra, Hindus knew about devastating impact the brahmastra can cause at global level, also aware of nuclear winter and physical deformity causing effects of it's nature for thousands of generations at least. Explained word by word also scientifically relating to, what we know of nuclear winter and it's outcomes in modern times, in ancient puranas. As per Vedas, even Hindu gods came down to earth asking occupant of the weapon to refrain from using it.

they should be more open minded, they keep saying that most of the writings were like a fantasy tale with the battling in chariots in the skies and all, but hold onto the theory of there being nuclear devices. I mean like technology has blind-sided us, we are adamant on the fact that what we know now is the only possibility even thousands of years before our time. Krishna is essentially a divine being, so if you are accepting that part of history and referring to Krishna as a divine being how can you possibly think that them having nuclear weapons is a more plausible theory than them being able to use some form of mystical powers. Like if Krishna was divine being then it stands to reason that he would have certain powers, they could be of the mystical nature or something else but its fair to say if he did posses those powers they would be used and could have devastating results. Basically I'm saying it's a little close minded to assume that they had nuclear power when they essentially had a divine being with them.
Like in the end of the video when they mention that a missile could have been fired by Krishna at the enemy's chariot in the sky, if you're accepting that the chariots were in fact flying then the theory of an arrow with mystical powers being fired at the enemy seems more plausible.

I don't know - some major inaccuracies - The Mahabharata war was fought in Kurukshetra! Dwaraka was untouched by the war - so when the experts somehow linking it to the war - ????? , I am a bit skeptical....also the documentary is supported by various architectural images - unrelated - the Udaipur Lake palace , the Arabic inscriptions, some Islamic forts and architectures ( Islam is a very young religion in comparison to Sanatana Dharma) - Like does not make sense to show those...There are a few "legends" why the city sunk!!

Well Krishna's city was sunken by a massive Tsunami. The story goes as when Krishna returned with the Pandavas after winning the 18day battle with the Kauravas, the devastated Kuru Queen Gandhari who had lost her 100 sons blamed Krishna for pulling the strings of the war. She cursed him that Krishna will see his own family kill each other, that his people will die before his eyes and his golden city will sink under the water.
36 years after the Mahabharata war, Krishna's 3rd son Samba played a vulgar prank with an ill-tempered hermit named Durvasa. Its said all other curses may be forgiven, but Durvasa's words never turn back. So Durvasa, obviously humiliated by the prince, cursed him and the Yadav dynasty to see their kingdom go down the sea.
A week later Samba vomited iron nails. The sky turned red and various omens were noticed. Terrified, Krishna's wives requested him to take them all far away for a trip. The whole family- his 8 prime wives, his 10 sons, his cousins and nephews, all went on a hunting trip. Krishna's elder brother had retired years ago (during the Mahabharata war) and was living in the jungle. Coincidentally they were in the same forest.
While in the night they were drinking, the men of the family begun arguing over the sides they had taken in the war. Note that Krishna had pledged his army to the Kauravas- so his best commanders were with the enemy. While Krishna himself was with the Pandavas. Among the survivers, some were Krishna's men and relatives who took part on either sides.
Krishna's second (and most flamboyant) wife, Satyabhama, drunkenly provoked the argument. This led to drunken fight, and because they were all good militants, it became a whole kill-fest. They killed each other right before Krishna's eyes.
Krishna who was the all knowing Avatar wasn't fazed by the horror. He simply walked away as they all took each others' lives. He walked afar and ended up discovering his older brother's dead body. His older brother had died long ago, in penance, and his mouth was a housing a giant snake.
Finally, Krishna decided to give up on life. He laid down under the same tree where he found his brother. Some hunter saw his yellow silk and mistook it for a golden deer. He was shot in his heel, which was the only spot on his body that was weak.
Krishna passed away quietly, bleeding to his death. But before he died, he told his driver, Uddhava to inform his friend and cousin, Arjun about the events at Dwaraka. His instructions were to request Arjuna to shelter his widows and his people, taking them safely to Hastinapur. He also appeared in Arjun's dream.
Arjun, with a very broken heart, took care of his final rites. He was the one who saw Dwaraka been engulfed by the large waves of the ocean. He had taken all the people of Dwaraka to the mainland. From the other side they could see the entire island disappearing under water. Pillars and forts, and palaces all vanished....
