I am sure Willa cringes every time someone talks about season two because her character would only be in season one if they follow the books. Sad but now Willa is known and she will have some other great parts in the future.
Cringe at the end when the host said that about season 2. Obviously most don't know the back story. Maybe they will change that in later seasons. For now though she's running the show in Margrave.
some tv series called the walking fred or something like that followed the same mold - created a brand new character NOT IN THE graphic novels, and that character was in every single episode of the whole show run. And made a side career out of the show as well. Daryl? Maybe Willa should have a similar career path. She was delightful in Reacher.
The chemistry between Alan and Willa is what made it...They are so believable. Finlay deserves alot of credit as well.He is a complex and interesting character that surprisingly struck a chord with everyday people.He just wanted to be left alone but some in this world just wouldn't let him.That being said the writers, producers and actors in this series are Gold. I got hooked on the first episode!
I’m so happy that Willa is getting the recognition she deserves, you can really see how much she evolved as an actress, from scream the tv series to reacher

Yep...everyone else was poor, the Roscoe and Finlay particularly. Also wasn't a fan of alot of the narrative changes...but there we are...that's the trend for "modern audiences"
They need Willa to come back some how. The both of them make the show. I know there’s different characters in each book - but I think they can work out something. Great show love it.
As much as I enjoyed to watch Willa and Malcolm, as they are very good actors with depth of character indeed. But the books should lead the series and I am sure a cameo of the one or the other beloved characters should be possible.

Alan is the better Reacher, he fits the character in the Lee Child novels. Cruise is just too darn short to be the over arching monster of a man Reacher that you picture in your head when you read the books. Can't wait to actually see more, seen all the episodes and I want more.
@@mikimiyazaki agreed, I think to give Tom cruise credit he’s obviously the more skilled actor and crazy gd at the action side of it, but Alan is what I invisioned reacher to look like and the personality portrayed by Alan is exactly what I expected. I think the thing about Tom cruise being reached was for 1 of course his height, but secondly it’s I just feel like any action hero Cruise plays u just see it as Tom cruise and not the characters actual name, whereas Alan feels like reacher to me. Looking forward to season 2

Willa is so good at playing a sweet badass. I think she would fit well in a Yellowstone-esk t.v. show. She seems to be so likable I hope her career sky rockets. And we can't forget about Malcolm Goodwin, great actor and I hope we see more of him.
We binged the entire season in one day this past weekend. I turned my wife into a huge Reacher fan. I used to hover over Amazon waiting for each new Reacher book to be released now I hover and wait for season two. I need to find out which Lee child book it’s going to be for season two. I can hardly wait… couldn’t be more pleased with the production..
Reacher was absolutely fantastic to watch the script /Alan /willa/Finley all bonded and made it happen. Can’t wait for season 2. make a film aswell do it right with Alan has reacher that’s deffo be box office
I was a fan of the books prior. I could see that the series was on Prime, but I was certain it would be terrible. Then one day I thought, 'well I'll see how bad the first episode is". I must be a cynic because I ended up watching the whole series within 36 hours. What a great show. Obviously great people, cast, involved. Great entertainment. Thank you for some fresh new great viewing. Can't wait for season 2.
The fact that Lee Child gave his blessing on this and the casting of Reacher let me know it would probably be okay and I was glad that it was! I loved season one and watched it like you did. Can’t wait for season two.
I loved the chemistry between Reacher and Roscoe. The series maked it so elegant, not that much but not too short scenes. I can't imagine season 2 without Roscoe though. Alan and Willa maked an amazing job playing these characters.
Alan and Willa along with finally and others made the perfect cast and the way they executed the storyline was amazing . Waiting for part 2 ☺️☺️ I wish Willa shud return for upcoming seasons as well and neagley was one of the perfect characters total bad ass 🤘🏻
@@chumkrimson8161 No his height wasnt the only thing working for the movie, his acting was very good for the character he played in this book. Sure Toms acting was a bit better but without the physical traits depicted for the character then you just have a non menacing short dude trying to be tough( of course no shade to Tom because he is GOAT). I loved both Reachers but imho, this guy did it for me, it had what Toms reacher was lacking and it was the intimidation of the monster that reacher is.

When I saw Cruises Jack Reacher films I didn’t see reacher I just saw Tom Cruise doing another awesome spy action film. Cruise wasn’t big enough so he had to play the character a different way, Alan is a great reacher.
My personal opinion, which may stomp some toes or not is simple.. While Cruise for me (as a non-bookreader) played the role to perfection for what i imagined J Reacher to be, I really enjoyed both movies alot. He never seizes to amaze me in his movies up untill today, yes i'm a big fan of his acting not his stuff outside of that. I also didn't know about Ritchson before.. But i've seen some stuff from the series on the tubes now and I gotta say, this dude is a killer.. Again, as a non-bookreader, this guy put up amazing acting for a character I seemingly don't know anything about :D . Also Willa, God you're a gorgeous person.. And your acting deserves way more recognition.. I wish it wasn't only on prime cuz as a Belgian, this stuff is very very small here
I haven’t read any of the books. In fact I didn’t know any Reacher novels, movies or TV show exist before seeing it on Prime by chance. To me, Alan Ritchson is Reacher. Later, I learned Tom Cruise also had played that role before. And when I saw pictures of Cruise as Reacher, I thought, “no, he can’t be Reacher.”

Awesome show and they hit the jackpot with signing Richardson to play reacher. The author who wrote the books was hesitant on Tom cruise playing reacher in the films because he was so small, in the book reacher is huge and a menacing presence. They nailed it in the series!!!!
Season two has already been given the green light. According to Amazon, they will start filming in September 2024. Hope to have it available for streaming by July 2026.
This actor alan ritchson is so good. And the jack reacher character goes a 100% compatible with him . And because of his genus acting I drunk season one and two in 2 days .
I binged 7 of the 8 episodes when I found season 1. I finished it the next day. Great series. Cruise played a decent Reacher, but Ritchson embodies the character and makes him more believable and no one else should ever be considered for the part. Just like Tom Hanks playing Forrest Gump...
Reacher book fans are just happy to have a guy now who fits the description of the character.

Aside from the obvious physicality part. Alan acted exactly like i pictured. Im a huge fan of the books and he murdered, absolutely killed the part.

Great choice to cast Alan Ritchson is this part. He does a much better job playing Reacher than Tom did in the movie version.
