My wife and I have had one for 10 years, other than regular oil and filter changes, brake pads, 2 sets of tyres, a set of rear wheel bearings, and we had tp buy a battery recently, because the original battery died after 16 years you see it's a 2004 model....nothing has ever gone wrong and never has it broken down or let us down, 1.4 ltr with conventional transmission. recently I noticed it was using water, I changed the water pump, thermostat and did a radiator flush. we have found out it needs a head gasket, so we are fixing it ,or maybe trading it in on a more modern one...I would highly recommend owning one, it;s comfortable and practical.

I have the same car, It is awesome no problems at all 140 000 miles runs like new. I flush all the fluids, change all filters, changed all spark plugs and spark plug wires. Ceramic brake pads. Go to a great mechanic and have them do a 3 step fuel fuel injection cleaning service. Make sure they use BG products. It gets rid of all carbon build up The car roars now. Also use royal purple engine oil it is better then mobil 1 one oil. It drives like a race car now!!!! Also use Trico Titan wipers they work the best. ALso buy the royal purple oil filter and change serpentine belt every 80 000 miles to be safe.

I honestly think that the car is slightly unattractive but I would definitely own one. I used to work for a Nissan dealership and it was one of my favorite Nissans to drive. It definitely isn't fast but it's a lot of fun to drive and it's ridiculously easy to park. Those seats are as comfortable as they say and the stereo is adequate for my needs. My only gripe was the CVT transmission. Never drove the manual. I'll have to go take one out for a test drive when I get a chance.

It’s actually a really nice car, a lot of great features such as vehicle dynamic control which helps make the car safer, cruise control is nice. It’s very comfortable, and yes the asymmetrical design is a bit off however it’s not ugly, It actually reminds me of a Jeep or Ford Flex ... it makes you feel like you are in a big car despite its size . It’s easy to maneuver. I live in a town where everyone drives trucks so imagine my lil ole cube around here.. I stand out but that’s a good thing cause I paid my money to do so. Anyone that gets stuck in its asymmetrical design is definitely close minded.

It discontinued in Europe two years after the Cube was first introduced here.
Then, it went out of sale in North America three years later, and then Nissan decided to axe the Cube completely in Japan five years later in 2019.

Having drive the Cube (US 1.8 Version) for 3 weeks, I must say this is a pure CITY CAR:
1.Engine is very noisy and unresponsive whenever you try to accelerate (CVT). Chassis flexing is more than 2009 Honda Fit.
    2. Base model cabin material is very cheap and GRAY.
    3. It's roomy but please try to drive slow in corner because those seats are very slippery(worse than Lincoln town car)
    4. On the highway (50+mph) this thing waves like a dolphin in any cross wind condition.

Drove a 1.4 auto as a courtesy car (the version before the one filmed here) and got overtaken on a slip road by a National Express coach - and I had my foot as far down as it would go in "sport" mode.

I just bought the American version. The only things that come standard on the U.S. version are safety features and the cruise control. You Brits get a good deal, too bad our petrol is still cheaper so it all works out.

On appearances only the Gen 2- Z11 Vs Gen 3 Z12 Comparing the 2 cars the Z12 is like an Ice cube that's started to Melt and become less sharp , more curvy & less retro and compared to many other MPVs like the Fiat 500L , the Kia Soul etc
Where is the Z11 still has its edges and more boxy and like an Ice cube before it started to melt surely the Z11 is the Coolest Cube out of the 2 ?

the cube has nothing on the scion xb (1st gen, not the oversized and fat 2nd gen) Ive owned my "toaster" for 5 years, driven 65k miles (100k total) and spent a whole $600 in repairs! The xb could stand to have more low-end power, but otherwise does all things well. IMO, it is better looking than the cube too (the cube has a weird looking butt)
