I have the same car, It is awesome no problems at all 140 000 miles runs like new. I flush all the fluids, change all filters, changed all spark plugs and spark plug wires. Ceramic brake pads. Go to a great mechanic and have them do a 3 step fuel fuel injection cleaning service. Make sure they use BG products. It gets rid of all carbon build up The car roars now. Also use royal purple engine oil it is better then mobil 1 one oil. It drives like a race car now!!!! Also use Trico Titan wipers they work the best. I also change the serpentine belt every 80 000 miles just to be safe and i use royal purple oil filter great quality!
it's 2016 but I enjoyed this presentation & some of you who commented. I'm in my 60s & will get driver's license soon but the crosswind kinda scared me but I will never drive 70 mph so that's OK now. I really like this cube now; I'd like to say how I appreciate your honesty!!! stay good kiddo (I know you're older now, but...)

I know you don't own this cube anymore but I noticed a couple of things while watching this video.
When you noticed your rear passenger door was locked you got back into the car and hit the button to unlock it. You could've just hit the button outside the driver's door twice to unlock all doors.
The other thing is your owner's manual being stored in the rear bin. There's a place for it inside the cavernous glove box up at the top. It slips into a little slot. I discovered that by accident after thinking my car didn't come with one so I ordered a replacement from the dealer. Now I have two manuals :)

My wife and I have had one for 10 years, all I've done to it is normal wear and tear stuff tyres, pads, plugs and normal servicing , we bout a 2004 model 1.4 ltr It is basically a comfortable car with massive practicality, we use it to do shows ( mainly bolts of Quilting Fabric), we also have an Nissan Elgrand for the bigger weekend shows, I have a Volvo C70 Coupe 2.3 Turbo which I have been rebuilding over the past 18 months...I would highly recommend The Nissan Cube for general running around town, we also do quite a few trips with it from The South Coast to The western suburbs of NSW, usually a 290 Kilometer trip, never a problem.
I still have my Krom, Pearl of 2009. No major problems, except for the audio aux input. Still loving it.

Thanks for posting this. I used to think that the cube was ugly and that I would never drive it. 5 years later, I needed a small commuter that runs well in the winter and is good on gas in the city, this was the answer. I look forward to owing one.
Great Review. I've never had any issues with being 'blown around' on the interstate though and I drive them daily. Any small car you have is going to be affected by cross-winds (even a Honda Civic). I know that being a box you would think that the cross-winds would be worse but that hasn't been the case for me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Cube to anyone.
The cross-winds really only affect me when I on the interstate going 70+ but that's not the only reason I am wanting to sell the cube. I mainly just need something with a more cargo space. The cube is a great passenger car as long as the passengers have no luggage. I still really love my cube and will gladly keep it if no one wants to buy it, I just think there are other cars out there that will fit my lifestyle better.

I have a 2009 Cube, Pearl White base model and I love it! I was sold by the iPod interface, awesome stereo. The car is really dependable and gets good gas mileage. Roomy and comfortable. I do notice the mileage drops considerably when driving against the wind. Boxy car problems. All in all, love the car. Little on the outside, but big on the inside.
Like the Doctor’s TARDIS! Very much so. My 08NissanCube died on me a year ago and I was so sad to give it up. It was a great car and great on Southern Alberta winter roads. 🇨🇦

I have a 2010 Cube and I love My Cube and I have no problem driving on the Highway the only thing I don't like is the wind noise and that I cannot put a Hitch on it other than that I love it, oh and thank you regarding the bungee cords I had no idea what they are for, I love the cup holders specially the one on the driver side

haha Thank you! I get to have the best of both worlds with the car. The white exterior definitely shows with its dirty, and the black interior shows every freaking grain of sand if its there ._. Its not fun trying to keep it clean.

You did an amazing job with this video. I’m looking at 2 vehicles. Kia Soul, Scion XB and now this one. Unfortunately not many reasonable used Cubes in my area with low miles.
If you go with the Xb try for 04-06 model. Much easier to work on/have work done and much better mpg. Had my box since 06 brand new and we love it. Thinking of this as a second car for road trips.
I got my 2010 Cube last month. It's a base model, automatic. It had about 58,000 miles on it when I got it and I've put about 1,500 on it since I got it. I love my car so much. The past few days while driving very slowly through a parking lot and go to turn left, my car makes a slight clunk noise. It isn't very loud, just enough for me to notice it. I feel like it's something that needs to be looked at, but I know nothing about cars. I feel like it's definitely something related to steering. It comes from the front of my car. Do you have any ideas of what it could be? I'm probably still going to have it looked at in a few weeks if the problem persists; sooner if it gets worse.
+madhatterc It could be the tire that might be too wide.Some wider branded tires for a cube can make the cube i little quieter on the freeway.Try asking a mechanic about the clunk noise

Seriously awesome model, all the perks!! I have a 2009 and it's bare minimum and I still love the Cube. I'm thinking about getting the remote starter to help with winter, and still have my key with me, I feel like it is the safest for living in an apartment area. I love the grill!! and the wheels!
I honestly thought the KROM model was the performance model... I seen the Rogue KROM with the dual rear center-mounted exhaust and it looks like a performance variant.

people say the swing is wrong bc if you live in really big cities like i live in san diego ca ppl tend to park so close to ur car that u cant even open it with the regular ones that go up they even touch ur bumper sometimes but it sux cuz even if you report it they wont do anything (tow it) since it doesnt cause damage to the car

It depends where you live. In North America, Cube production ceased in 2014. The 2014 MSRP was 16,900 for a manual and 17,900 for the "continuously variable transmission" (which is basically an automatic that is smoother in gear changes).
The Cube is still produced in Japan, which is Nissan's home country.

@ericjones363 2010 with 126k miles, but it runs good as long as you maintain it, but I also bought it used, which I did already buy a motor for it already in case it does fail
