    Really enjoy your clear and enthusiastic presentation style. Layout looking superb, O has really come on so far in past years, there is a real sense of ‘presence’ even from a video!

      O gauge is such a wonderful scale to model in and it really has come a long way. An Ellis Clark Black 5 will be gracing the layout very soon 😉

      Thank you, it's been a work in progress for a while but I'm happy with how it's come along 😊

    Love the concrete slabbing you've created, really effective

      Thank you. It was very easy by using the AK WarGames products. However using sand paper to rub the lumps and bumps away was needed to achieve the finish.

    Great work! Currently planning a small shed layout like this but for OO.

      Shed scenes are the best to model. They are so jammed packed full of detail and you can have so much fun with them 😊

    Looks great.
    I must really crack on with building bits for my TT:120 layout. 4 months until its first exhibition, and I have 1/4 of the landscaping done (including one of two platforms), plus 1 of 5 main structures (a 6th will be a lineside hut, which I haven't looked into yet). At least all of the track is working, and I have some TTA tanks for my 08s to haul now.

    Bridge is looking good, you will need to include some form of beam/lintel that supports the brick parapets across the track

    foamex sounds like good stuff! Nice layout in a small space.

      Foamex is fantastic to work with and is perfect for scratch building. It gives strength too and glues together very easily.

    The weathering on the locomotives is too good.

    • @hornbymag
      @hornbymag  Před 4 měsíci

      It certainly does make all the difference. Our weathering series will show you just how easy it is to have a go yourself 😊
