It Doesn't Take Much! Improving My Ascent 18

Just a couple of upgrades will take the Ascent 18 from really good to really great.
I added a nice wheel/tire/insert combo as well as an upgraded battery to my Ascent 18 and its a completely different animal now. Check out the video to see what all I used and how well my Ascent 18 is performing now.
There isn't really a lot left to do on this guy now. I may add some more parts but I don't expect them to make any where near this much of a difference. Also as of filming this video I'm well under the 100 dollar mark as far as upgrades go too so I've definitely gotten a lot of bang for my buck.

I’m in Georgia so I guess we’re close enough to have similar terrain. Thank you! The body turned out way better than I thought it would haha. It’s literally a cut up roof rack for a TRX4M defender and half a body from a SCX24. Also Redkittens is the best thing I’ve ever heard anyone call the Ascent 18.

Awesome dude! I just ran mine last week with zero mods. Have a set of weighted wheels for it to build up. Looking good on the trail!

Great video. Do you have any recommendations for a 3s on a trx4m running the injora mb100 and injora 48t motor ?

Thank you! You can run the 650mah pack I used in this video, I run it in my TRX4M fits in the stock tray perfectly! You’ll have to change the connector on your ESC or on the battery but it fits very nicely.
