- We join the Persson family on an epic tour of the world famous Nordic Lodge, one of the top all-you-can-eat seafood buffets in the world. The Nordic is not a restaurant, it's an experience. Part Two of the Oyster Renaissance Episode from our food and travel series, A Taste of Rhode Island, airing on Rhode Island PBS.
This place is worth every single dime. The seafood is so fresh and the beef is way better than I thought it would be considering all they spend on seafood. High quality on everything. Shocked me. My husband takes his staff here twice a year, summer and right before they close. Bill is over 1K but worth it since they all worked hard.
As a prior business owner, 1K is penny to the dollars. Great job for taking care of your employees
When they say "high end" they really really mean it!! Food is excellent
I went here with my family last year 3 hour drive from jersey. My family flew out from North carolina.The Nordic is amazing and worth the drive great conversation with staff and people there. Food to die for. I make sure to get a hotel nearby because after eating their amazing food you may want to lay down and relax and enjoy the pleasant time you had here.

Hands-down I can say with confidence but I’ve never been to a place as unique with such high quality food as the Nordic Ladge

Robert Nitkowski: I follow a fasting lifestyle as well. I'll be visiting New Hampshire this Spring and will be dining at the Lodge. I think I'm going to dry fast for 3 days then wet fast 2 days before the meal. I wanna taste it ALL! 😄
Don’t fast. It shrinks your stomach leaving less space for all you’re going to want to eat!
Went there with my mom for my 13th birthday...it's amazing. The unlimited Lobster and the dessert bar are my two favorite parts.
To get the most for your money, don’t fill up on garlic bread or fried food, and skip the soft drinks while you dine. They just fill you up and bloat your stomach. Hydrate a couple of hours before you go. Head for the lobster, Alaskan King Crab, shellfish, filet mignon and prime rib. You’ll thank me.
Just waiting for the quarantine to end and I'll head over there to open up the season.
We were there from Alabama last week. This place is amazing, great food, wonderful staff and is run like a well oiled machine. Spent my 58th birthday there, hope to go again one day. Roll Tide from Tuscaloosa!

I go twice a season and it's always a pleasure talking with Steve.
We go every year. We plan it to be the same time as the Charlestown Seafood Fest.
Food is fresh and delicious.
You cant replace the family atmosphere they have there!

the father of a buddy of mine is somewhat of a regular here, and a large guy, who always makes sure he gets his money’s worth. once ate 16 1lb lobsters and decided to stop not because he was full but because he was “comfortable”

I’ve been Here many times at least Over 10 I go once a year and it’s nice to get away and go have a nice lobster or seafood buffet so the food is decent just got back today from here sometimes the lobster it can be overcooked but today it was delicious the chicken wings were great the steak was also fantastic stuff shrimp rice broccoli string beans everything was great however there is no seasoning on anything so you have to season it yourself as far as the steak and the chicken tenders what overcooked . And the ribs look burnt but they were good. I will go back again like I do every year and I am looking forward to it so if you’re looking for at all you can eat buffet with seafood and other options if you don’t eat seafood I would recommend this place

Wow, looks amazing. I don't go to all-you-can-eat buffets generally because although I love food I don't eat a lot, (I do cook a lot for others!) but I would definitely go there if I had the chance. I love that they prize quality and the experience and that it is a family run place.

Great video on what is offered I just went 6/21/19 it was the same menu..nice property the staff was A++ Awesome but honestly not worth $100+ dollars pp..even if you just ate high end food you'll never eat $100 worth of seafood in a 2hr limit..If you do than you'll feel like your in an episode of man vs food just to get your money's worth

The only thing you should be getting there for that price is the lobster, oysters, clams, and filet mignon. He didnt state where the shrimp or scallops come from so I am going to assume it is from some cesspool in a third world country.

We thank the congregation for all of god's money. They flew us here to indulge in gluttony. Hahah what a farce. The restaurant looks amazing though. Only a knock on the "pastor"

Don't think like that. Im black and i'm proud. I've been there 3 times. 2013/14 and 2017. They treated everyone with respect! P.S. That lobster and prime rib is the best combo. 👍
