I live in Warwick R.I and have always love eating at clam shacks, FLO’s is AMAZING!!!! The best I have ever eaten in 60 years, and I eaten at so many up and down the Coast from Main to Connecticut . I return to FLO’s each Year because they are the best fried clams I ever eaten !!!!!!!
I’m so glad to see a nice true Lobster Roll. Butter and lobster maybe lemon if you like. Mayo makes it a Lobster Salad sandwich. (Not, that there’s anything wrong with that).
I have to go here! Update 3/11/22- I was in the area and both locations were temp closed. Bummer, my taste buds were screaming for this food. The sign is Portsmouth said opening 3/25.
Flo's is awesome, I'm lucky in and out of RI I go by flo's, or go by Tommy's, or go by clam box, haven't been by clam box in while, flo's is just awesome, I thought all 3 used frozen clams cuz volume, but they shuck lol. And in west Warwick I can make anytime want, flo's had great clamcakes, fish and chips, don't always have time to make at home, but at home can freeze cohaug, steamer.. liquor, and use for chowder, clamcakes(no water) and double the clams, and use for stuffies.. flo's had great platter🤤, enjoy
I grew up in Rhode island bur never heard of Flo`s Clam Shack (I did move to MD. 40years ago). I live in Brazil, but have to go to R.I. once my Permanent Residency is approved. i will make this one of my first stops when I visit R.I.
They should make their own real tater sauce instead of using nasty kens brand tater sauce!!! That was that only thing I hated about that place.. kens tater sauce is disgusting!! made my fish shrimp n whole fisherman’s platter I paid a killing for taste like asshole!! Kens tarter nasty sauce!! MAKE UR OWN TARTER SAUCE PLEASE!! The real New England tarter sauce!!! Ewwww I wasted my money cuz I love real tarter with all my fried seafood.. kens tarter sauce sux..
The only have one problem, why do thay buy all there clams, steamers, etc, from out of state ?? Steamers from Maine? After all this is the ocean state !!!!
