Very hard to listen to you talking about fishing with your dad and what not, it's very relatable and what you have done is just so special and part of what will one day be your legacy in the fishing world.
I found out later in life I have thus a that wrong behavior wise and the water just calms me so much, so thankyou to everyone that gives us these places it means more than you know

I cannot see the point of the negativity and barbed comments. If you don't like it piss off some where else. He's had an idea and is trying to do the best by it. And to the twat who commented about mummy and daddy's pond, his father has passed away. Feel big now. This is a work in progress.
The point is that he’s created a CZcams channel advertise his business, to increase subscribers and views, which allows positive and negative comments to build a reputation and get people talking about his new venture. The controversy is good for internet traffic and therefore good for business.
Totally agree 👍 good luck to him and it’s is land and his business and he can do what he wants with it and charge as much as he wants , I see someone said it was 890 a week , isn’t it what people pay in France for a week or even more ?

@@strickostricko I hate carp fishing fella but it’s what most people want to do nowadays and I have to agree with you there ,but if u have a family it’s pritty cheap for a week as u could fish in the day or what ever and your misses goes of a does what she wants then it’ll work , i pay up to 400 ish a day for a guide and a boat for one day so it puts into perspective really ,
@@garysimpson8860 There’s cheaper, better options for carp fisherman. Another 3-4 years these fish will have nearly doubled in size if fed right and then it’s a different story on what he can get away with charging.

Have your carp care ready with the mat and sling . Can do more damage walking away leaving the fish on the mat than you originally wanted to treat

My local lakes is £10 a day you can choose between 4 lakes each lake has a good head of carp with varying average weights and a chance of catching a 40+ is not out the question. For £890 think he’s asking way too much.

Amazing work mate with bigger fish 20+ slip the net into the sling before lifting out the water. A sling supports the weight of lager fish better then nets do. You've made a banger of a lake.
Followed this from the start, great series! I’m just struggling to see how it would be fishable with multiple pegs surely some islands or donut shape would have broke it up a bit separating the swims a bit more? Great series, lake and content either way :)

I’ve really enjoyed the videos of your journey from field to fishery, quick question are you feeding the fish, with what and how much are you having to put in?
I get the family loss and know personally how proud you must feel to give something back and to honour your late Dad. Thank you for enlightening us with all the effort and cost that goes in to building your own venue. After watching the series, building this type of lake is not worth it unless it was maybe 10 x this size and had everything a carp needed. Snags, sanctuary, overhaning trees, bushes, a island or two, shallow bars, drops offs. These areas overtime will become natural food larders, where snails, bloodworms, mussels, fly larvae would grow.
But anyway, as long as you are happy with it thats all that matters.

If it makes it harder to cast and the fish somewhere to hide the better because that’s the whole point of fishing is the challenge.

Exactly what I was thinking. I mean nice to have your own lake and I am sure future development is planned but tbf at the moment the lake looks really not great. Would love to see it with trees, bushes, et cetera and not some featureless hole in the ground...

Wonder why most fish are getting injuries in the lake. Can't be many snags in lake at mo. Looks good tho. A good head of fish. When booking goes live me and the Mrs would like to book lake.. didn't realise it was a lake exclusive..

How are they all getting so damaged ?
Water level is slightly down and looked like there getting beached at the front of the swim also into spring so could be from the flanking and rubbing they are doing more concerning there is no pushing for carp care on the hook holds and allowing zigs. Cracking little venue too have on the portfolio though should be proud

He messaged me and charged me £100 for using a 2 second clip in our first video we used of him casting a float. Was surprised he charged when i was a patreon of his channel for over 5 years. Kind of put a sour taste on the channel for me. Despite his content being incredible. Shame when a creator surprises you.

It could be possibly from spawning . The lack of foliage around the banks is a issue because they will crash into the banks. The water is not developed enough in my opinion yet.
The lack of areas for the carp to hide will cause stress to them also .
I dont like using them unhooking mats for bigger carp i think all fisheries should be a carp cradle only rule the syndicate I fished last had it
