Over the years I've become a HUGE Simon Pegg fan. It's not just him, but the movies he does are some of the best, like Shawn of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World's End, Paul, Man Up, even Star Trek and MI. He's so natural and naturally funny.

Simon Pegg used to drink in the same pub as me. He was always on his own and always writing. This was around the time Spaced started, so I vaguely recognised him. I bet he never thought he'd go from a pub in North London to hanging out in Hollywood with Tom Cruise.

I love how good an actor Tom Cruise is that he can make us forget what a weirdo he is.
Simon is a better actor for pretending to like him so he can keep getting cast in Mission Impossible movies. He's always sucking up to Tom, telling hem EXACTLY what he wants to hear without it being too obvious. Eventhough Tom is not there, he knows Tom will be watching (Tom always watches anything that's about him) If you boost someone's ego, they'll love you. Peg is smart. Zero backbone, but smart.
The comparison of the prank to a scene in David Fincher's Se7en had me in stitches.
