I try a catoon rocket image, this tool will inflate a monster to me even not a cylinder, how to improve?
That's insane, i was expecting ace ventura to come out of it though
Lmao funny guy
Kinda hot in these rhinos

I shit you not.. when I saw that movie and that part happened I laughed so hard my lung literally collapsed. was in the hospital for 2 weeks with a chest tube.
@@returnedtheslab2126 Can i put Adobe Illustrator things ? 😯😯😊😊🥰🥰🤗🤗
Sincerely, this was a pivotal moment for me in my blender journey. Found this like 3-4 months ago. I am still floored at what is possible in so little time. Thanks for making a simple and clear video!
Ok, that was really an interesting tipp, thanks for this! Seems like a massive time saver to me if used on the right objects. I guess I'll try to use it for basemeshes for sculpting, seems way faster than modeling the shape as usual :)
Exactly what I was thinking
I saw this tool first on two-minute-papers. Machine-learning algorithms are going to make former apparently impossible tasks look like childplay. There are already reasonably 'machines' that creates midi-note representation of orchestral music. An absolutely *never-going-2-happen*, just a few year back
The future is amazing!
Got a link to that midi tech?
Amazingly gay! Gottem
and scary
@@pointblankeloquence9578 I can't post links for some reason...check out Spitfire Audio's free vst they made of the BBC Symphony Orchestra. You just have to click a few links to get to the free version. It's amazing.
It wasn't "never going to happen", the prediction was that the use of complex symbolic systems, e.g. like musical notation, will be a relatively easy task and it is. Cognitive skills is the barrier, at least with our computational capacity nowadays or in the near future, because Quantum Computing is not an applicable solution. It's overhyped (by non scientists, professionals of the field don't expect great leaps for several reasons) and still in an rudimentary stage.
this thing is fantastic for creating base meshes for sculpting and retopology practice.
Thx for sharing :) Just a tip, in Blender you can select by just clicking L, if you hover you mouse over a disconnected object like the legs and ears.
That is the craziest 3D web program I’ve ever seen! Thanks for sharing this!
This is very impressive. Back in 2010 I was doing 2D to 3D conversion for hollywood movies and it was a million times more tedious than this. Of course, technology has advanced much since then.
Really you worked in Hollywood
where
Oh my god this is exactly what I needed. This saves me loads of time and is much easier for me than to create a model from scratch. At least there is something to work with.
This is a really excellent and clever web tool, with a lot of promise. The only thing missing really is a feature like Photoshop's Magic Wand or Polygonal Lasso tool to make the selection of objects a lot easier and precise. Either way, great video.
Couldn't you just do the selection in photoshop and then port it over to monster mash up.
Holy crap! Great find! I have a project where my live actor has a symbol burned on his hand that I want to glow (like embers), and I've been having a terrible time modeling it to match the live footage. With this, I can just do what you did and get my model perfect. Then I just need to animate the effects! THANX!
Thank you soooo much for this! I make storyboards as a part of my instructional design work, and I've wanted to learn 3D modeling, mostly just to amp up development presentations and challenge myself to learn another auxiliary skill. Your tips are going to be so helpful! Thanks!
hey i am looking for a storyboard artist, any how could share work email or how to get in contact. its for a live movie though not animation.
This isn't how you learn 3D modeling
If that’s the case, watch many tutorials on blender and spend countless hours on it 🤣 that’s your new life for now…until you are ready to show off your triple A work
Thank you Nick for making this. That is a powerful tool
BEST TEACHER,YOU MADE IT LOOK EASY ,NOT LIKE OTHERS WHO DO THINGS IN A COMPLICATED WAY,THANKYOU BIG TIME
3:10 "this looks far from perfekt"
For a 5 second made mesh it looks more than perfect ! 👍👍👍
imagine this with a graphic tablet
This wasn't what I was searching for, but it's something that I actually needed 😁😁😁 this is fantastic 😁
Way cool. This will be very handy for creating virtual virtual environments and rooms or bubbles. This will help with spacial representations and representing avatar size representations compared to actual sizes.
Super time booster for quick background models. Just wonderful!
Damn, this is insane! I was googling for 2D to 3D videos but this is mind-blowing bro Thank you for sharing this, such amazing tools have ever seen before!!
Oh please you can download mods without going through all that damn work the people that create mods did all the hard work for you
Holy crap. This saves so much time from having to model background objects. This is freaking amazing.

Your tutorial and app introduction is good. Good-good, as I could have asked for. Thank you much for an ideal add-on to Blender 3D! Happiest Holiday, sir. 😃
I liked this monster mash demo . i am extremely happy after knowing about this monster mash. Iam a beginner in the animation world. I am struggling make 2d animation object. Now not only 2d animation, even 3d animation objects making is lot easier, after learning about this monster mash web tool through your blender daily youtube channel. Quite useful web tool you have bring out through your youtube channel.
Nice! At worst, you can get a nice non-hero model to fill in a shot. At best, you can save time with a decent starter mesh you can refine in Blender. Thanks!
As a programmer something like this looks great. As creating some cool looking static meshes would be made much easier. Thanks for this subbed

As soon as the drawing turned into 3d object, I literally got stunned and subscribed to this amazing channel...😮
You can also easily fix big texture problems (like the green patches on top) with the tools in the texture paint workspace.

Can you combine multiple images of same object and turn into 3d object or possibly 3d model?
..im new to this stuff and been looking for 1 that can do this ..please reply if know of 1 that you recommend..thanks in advance
can u pls explain how to do this??
@@shawnlee5482 Yeah, you can. For geometric objects such as houses, look into something called fSpy which can match camera angles and export those to Blender -- but you still have to model the object yourself. More generally, and especially for more organic forms, check out photogrammetry where you can make very detailed models from a large series of photographs. You can even use video shot from your smartphone with you walking around the object. Meshroom is a free and opensource program to convert those images into a 3D model which you can then use in any 3D software to clean up and refine.
@@pleochroic link to meshroom or is any program called that ok? i just discovered all this today and really eager to make some models!
Wow, if it could use three image references (front, profile, and side) to improve the results, it'd be awesome!
Wow what an incredible feature, thanks for explaining and demonstrating.
That us SO awesome!
I’m going to start teaching myself Blender tonight - love this video. Thank u!
works well and quickly with symmetrical objects or animals. Edit in blender with the mirror modifier and it is perfect for the background. Thanks for the tip
This was amazing! Exactly what I was looking for and I didn't know it existed. Thank you!!! 👍
thats pretty impressive tbf.
the future of 3D modelling and animating is going to be insane
This is extremely helpful for sci-fi builds.!
Thank you very much! It's a very useful and clear explained tutorial.
This was a great find thanks, I love these small tools that produce easy and fun results
This is the most awesome thing i have seen this year. Thank you for sharing.
This seems like it could become very powerful very fast if it were updated to be able to include being able to define the model's sides and back, plus an auto-trace. It'd certainly be interesting if it gained the ability to take a drawn character reference sheet and compose a model out of such a thing.
Yes it needs an auto trace✅
That’s dangerous talk. A lot of modelers would be out of a job.
@@MiguelDLewis Technological advancements tend to be pretty agnostic to the job market. The problem more than anything is that there still "has" to be a job market because society "can't function without money".
Besides, wouldn't do anyone any good if they can't draw well enough to make a decent looking model, and you'd still need to have an eye for depth for post-generation touch ups since I don't think that's something you can feasibly get across in drawings, at least not in a way that's useful for transcribing the drawing to a 3D entity.
@@MiguelDLewis Like the old man Darwin once said, they should "adapt to survive".
@@MiguelDLewis tell that to horses after the invention of the car lol
This is insane..🔥🔥
Thanks Nik, looks like a great way to start to do something useful. I'm new to Blender and about to try and get a basic grip of it.

Its worth pointing out that for reference images, this really only works with a side on picture.
Updates? Anything else you learned?
I bet this would be really good for making a lot of balloon animals really quickly
That is just insane, absolute magic
Thank You very much for this tutorial! It is more than remarkable and useful! :)
Thank you so much, Bro! This is the best tutorial on this topic. But after all the manipulations with the image, for some reason the option is not available to me "exrort animation as gITIF(.gib file)" . Do you know what is the reason? This option is grayed out and unavailable
go to the animation tab and it should become available:)
Question: can you animate the model in Blender? I'm still new to Blender.
Yes, you can. You either have to rig the model or use shape keys. Both techniques are well covered in several CZcams tutorials, just search for them. I hope this helps you:)
